okay what is up this is tyler Pratt with
Tyler Pratt comm and in this video I
want to talk to you about how to
increase your website traffic for free
alright so in this video what I want to
talk about is really just getting
traffic to your website I mean just and
being able to generate traffic to your
website now if you're not familiar with
website traffic right you have a service
you have a business a blog whatever it
is you got to get people to your website
you got to get people in front of your
content you got to be able to see your
content be able to you know you can
present your offers and all that good
stuff but you got to get people in front
of your content and the best way to
really do that is get yourself on page 1
of Google ok so you could you know we
can talk about some of the other search
engines but Google is about you know 80
percent of all the traffic so when
people come online first thing they do
is they go straight to Google and they
just start typing in stuff how do you
stop how to do this
you know what is this there's all kinds
of different keywords that people search
for now the cool thing is with Google
and they've been doing this since they
want is they give the data away so you
can actually see the data from Google on
the top keywords that are being searched
the you know all the information they
just give that information out why
because they want people to buy
advertisements on Google so how do you
get traffic for free well what you do is
you go to Google's keyword tool ok just
Google Keyword tool inside of Google go
to keyword tool and once you're inside
of there you can find keywords that are
going to be you know highly searched now
when you think of keywords you might
think of like one word like fitness or
health or you know money those are one
one-word keywords I just wrote a blog
post today on and the keyword was how to
how to increase your website traffic for
free that's that's one keyword now
there's seven words in that string but
that's the ticket that's one keyword
okay so when you're creating content for
your blog for your website that whole
string is your keyword so you have to be
able to strategically use that
word inside of your content because when
google there spiders go to your website
they're going to go to your website and
they're going to look at your website
they're going to they're going to see
your content and they're going to try to
rank that content inside of google but
what they need to do is they need to
find what the keyword is about so they
need to be able to put it in the right
place so when somebody comes to their
index they'll be able to show your link
now the great thing about longtail
keywords like how to you know how to how
to how to get free website traffic or
how to get website traffic for free it's
a very long keyword and it's like seven
words and a lot of times there's not a
lot of competition for very long
keywords like that seven words there's
usually not a lot of competition so you
can rank very well and you can get
inside of Google on page one fairly
quickly you know if you think about like
fitness you would absolutely you
couldn't even rank for Fitness the word
fitness or make money like make money
online would be almost impossible to you
to rank inside of Google but longtail
keywords with seven words six words
things like that those are easy to rank
because they're just not a lot of
competition nobody's trying to create
content around that so when you do right
so you have your blog post and the one
thing you want to do is make sure the
keyword is in the title the keyword is
definitely got to be in the title when
you create a piece of content your first
paragraph on the content have your
keyword in that paragraph and then if
you have an image inside of your content
make sure the image alt tags okay so the
alt tags are going to be the what the
search engines will look and they'll see
the image and they'll see what's the
title or what's the name of this image
you want to use the keyword in that alt
tag okay if you're using WordPress all
of this is kind of helpful at all this
is kind of easy you can you can do that
also inside of your the paragraph that
you're creating you want to have your
content I mean your keyword inside of
that content right and then so you guys
want to make sure you kind of spread
your keyword out throughout your content
just because when the when despite the
search engines come to your website they
need to be able to spider your content
and they need to be able to rank it and
get it on to page one
now getting onto page one is absolutely
insane I actually a few years ago was
ranked for the term MLM leads right it's
a huge keyword it's it's you know it
searches a ton I was on page one of that
and I was getting I was getting all
kinds of traffic it was life was good
you know traveling with coming in leads
were coming in sales were coming in it
was really really good now you might ask
what happened well if you if you search
for Panda and things like that you'll
understand that they came in and did a
lot of cleaning up I'm not sure what why
I was was targeted on that but they did
a lot of cleaning of the search results
okay so you got to be careful some of
the things you do but if you just create
your content and you really find a
keyword that's long tail and it's not a
lot of competition for it and you
structure your content well with the
keyword in there you're going to you're
not going to have any problems with
search engines or are not going to have
your problems with Google but Google is
going to be where you're going to find
that the the best traffic for your
website others you can go to all kinds
of different places to find free traffic
but there's not going to be targeted I'm
you can go find you know you could you
know go to like add slide comm right
I think it's ads fire ad s ly I'm not
really sure I think it's ad slide calm
but if you go there you could buy all
this crazy free traffic I'm you're not
free traveling but you can get like 1
cent traffic and it's the absolute
crappiest traffic out there okay so your
goal is to get yourself on to page 1 of
Google and you do everything you can to
try to get on there you structure
content you get the keywords and all
that good stuff all right that's how
you're going to get free traffic once
you start to get it indexed with the
Google the more content you put out
there the more keywords that you really
go after the that you know progresses
and it starts to really build up and
over time you're going to start to get
free traffic from other sources because
what happens is that there's a ton of
like alternate search engines out there
and what they do is they just use
Google's index to create their search
engines so what happens is you you get
onto Google you get indexed and get
ranked and all that and then you have a
ton of other websites what they do is
they grab your links and they put them
on their index try to build up their
search engine
so you get a lot of good free traffic
from other sources okay so that's really
how you're going to get free website
from your website okay so just just get
your keywords get to the title get the
content all that good stuff in there hey
