talk to you about making money and how
all right so Instagram right so it's
it's owned by Facebook and it's actually
growing like crazy now I have a my
Instagram as you can see it my Instagram
account right now is that right around
one hundred and thousand followers and I
want to talk to you about how to make
money using Instagram okay so and I use
this every day and I want to just give
you some system strategies the first of
all what you want to do is you want to
make sure that you're building your
account okay that's the most important
thing don't just go into Instagram with
your account thinking that you're going
to just offset and make money with it
you've got to really build up a good
account because when you start building
it up and you start building followers
then you can start to monetize it okay
and I'm going to explain the best ways
to monetize it now with my account it's
a motivational entrepreneurial type site
so I put up quotes I put up pictures of
you know homes and cars and things like
that because people dream about that
they like that and so I get a lot of
engagement on that your Instagram page
could be about Fitness it could be about
dating it could be about your lifestyle
anything like that anything it's good
and everybody can monetize their account
the first thing you want to think about
though is what is your what is your
overall strategy of your account what is
your account kind of about because you
have to really match an offer if you're
going to monetize it with what your
account is so if you're kind of all
about Fitness you wouldn't want to try
to monetize it with know how to make
money online type offers we just
couldn't match right you want to find
offers that obviously people are going
to resonate with now the thing about
with Instagram is you always got to be
posting content all the time it's the
one platform where you can't automate it
it's just set up to where you have to be
you have to take your phone with you all
the time you have to be constantly up
you know putting photos up and then
getting people engaged on it you got to
really grow that way you got to meet up
with other people you got to do
shoutouts for other people maybe you
want to buy some shoutouts to help grow
your account but instead your account
gets to a point where it starts to grow
so you get a lot of engagement it's not
going to make any sense to really
monetize it so if you just if you're
just getting start with your Instagram
account I wouldn't even for the first
six months maybe a year at the most
I wouldn't even focus on trying to
monetize it I know it sounds frustrating
and you might think well I want to I
need to make money now well if you need
to make money now try to build an
Instagram account is not going to be the
way to do it okay you have to grow it
and it has to be something that people
want to come back and see your photos
now with that said once you try to grow
in your account and it serves to get to
the point where it's 20,000 30,000 maybe
40,000 people then it's time to maybe
set up some things where you want can
grow and and monetize it here's the
thing if you're going to be posting four
or five photos every day what I
recommend is every day you post let's
say four or five photos they're going to
engage with people get them to connect
and then what you want to do is maybe
the sixth photo you have text on your
photo that says you know click the link
in my bio to get something like to get
you know how to you know three tips on
how to how to lose weight or you know
some type of giveaway that you can get
somebody to click on the link have them
go to an opt-in form and then get onto
your email list if you have a link in
your in your Instagram and it's going to
like a sales page where it's going to a
blog page you're wasting traffic that
traffic needs to go straight to a
landing page and that landing page needs
to be mobile-friendly so when somebody
lands on that page you'll see it here
let me show you I'll show you my page so
when somebody clicks on my link it goes
to a mobile friendly landing page just
like that okay you notice everything is
right in in the image right there okay
there's no you don't have to scroll down
you don't have to get right there you
just somebody comes there and they click
on that the this pops up and they put in
their email okay
that's what you want to do with your
Instagram account go straight to an
opt-in form because if you go straight
to a sales page people aren't going to
buy right there and you need to get them
on your list and you need to be able to
follow up with them and
send out emails and then once they're on
your list you can always follow up with
them that's how you can really monetize
your list it's so important you get them
off Instagram onto your email lists and
follow up with them okay don't go to a
blog or don't don't even send them to
like a YouTube video that's just going
to be wasted traffic get them off get
them onto your list that way you can
follow up with them that's how you're
going to really monetize your list
that's how you're going to grow your
Instagram account and that's how you're
going to make money with Instagram is to
get them on there and then offering
products and services that relate to
your account okay so that's how you do
