going on in the last week for me my
parents weren't in town that came in
like last Thursday afternoon and then
they left on Tuesday morning so they

when you have visitors in town you have

on so I took a couple days off during
that time I was having like a lot of
tech issues with hosting and it was kind
of a pain in the ass like tech issues
are it happens from time to time one
I moved ninja type project over to SSL
so it's secure now HTTPS so it has the S
on the end now and basically I mean it's
a good move I've been putting it off for
like over a year and I was like you know
what I'm just gonna do it I had a little
bit of free time and I guess I wanted to
punish myself a little bit so I think
I'm all set I think I actually you know
moved it over without screwing things up
I think I mean I'll probably know in a
few more days but basically it's easy to
do the surface level stuff you usually
get these SSL certificates for free with
hosting now and there are a couple
companies that are providing them just
for free you just have to use them the
thing is I have you know caching set up
I have a CDN set up so there's like a
few extra configuration things to work
with on that so okay I see some
questions coming in Julian today Julian
asked that I enjoy the Eclipse yes it
was amazing by the way
I'm publishing a like a vlog style of
video at 2 o'clock today so in four
hours from now there will be a video
going live and so check it out leave a

now visiting my younger sister in
Pennsylvania and her family so I'm gonna
send it to them so they can all watch it
together and it was I mean it was
amazing I'm pretty sure I'm gonna you

add best-before the same term the
competition now seems more difficult

but a lot of these top 10 sites show up
and show a very similar product what to
do in this kind of situation I'm not
real sure what you're asking I mean I
see you've laid out the scenario and I
don't really understand what you're
asking so I mean are the kgr keywords if
they're kgr keywords then don't worry
about the competition that you see and
your perceive just go with the kgr ratio
like it works like the work so go with
it if you are and I'm sorry I don't
quite understand your question it just
seems like you're telling me your
scenario and you're asking me now what
to do and I'm I guess overall find
better keywords so if it's kgr content
you're good to go
if it's not kgr content fine kgr
complying it keywords and you should be
good to go if you have follow its power
just ask and sir Rob says how to
identify a right silo structure um that
I'm sorry guys and gals I'm not a
hundred percent sure what that question
means I don't use silo structures but if
you're trying to identify the silo
structure then I would look at the URL
structure and see what it looks like if
you got a niche site project comm and
you like search at the very bottom in
the footer area there's a search bar if
you look for silos you'll find my post
on silos and basically that'll show you
how to identify a silo structure I bet
however that you really ask me how to
design a silo structure and I will tell
you don't worry about it just publish
your post and interlink them all over
the place internally and get like
Wikipedia so don't worry about a silo
structure it's more work than it is
worth okay rohan says what are you doing
nowadays any new projects like to listen
about my project so I'm working a lot on
this is good that's actually a really
good question I'm working a lot on
YouTube you can tell from these live
streams I mean for like I don't know I
don't know how many live streams I did
but there's probably over you know 30 or
40 of them just like getting used to
this format and working with it if you
watch some of the early ones earlier
ones you'll see me trying to do Facebook
in YouTube at the same time which was a
total mess so I thought yeah just at
Facebook I'm not gonna worry about that
I'm just gonna do these YouTube live
streams which are great and so I'm
working on that the other part is you
know talked about this over and over
again working on be like building my
email list it's an ongoing thing and I
actually just about a course yesterday
an expensive course called call to
action by renewed safety and actually
like even upgraded to like a
private coaching group so it's very
expensive it's one of those you know
premium courses and I have been a fan of
her meets for a long time and actually
it was only a couple weeks ago I was
like I don't think I'd ever buy a course
from them
I feel like they'd be so hard on me like
I'm just like everyone I'm like insecure
about this stuff and working on even
though you know things are going well
I'm still like indecisive about certain
things so this course is on copywriting
and there's a component of like list
building and like developing stronger
calls to action stuff like that I mean
it's called call to action so you can
imagine that it is oriented around
marketing it is very tailored for the
stuff that I'm trying to do so I am I've
invested and you know these courses are
expensive and I took a course last year
by Derek Halpern on social triggers that
was about creating a course and creating
a very good course and I'm you know it
was expensive it was like four thousand
bucks and one of the best investments I
ever made I mean it's probably worth
more than like my college education so
that that level and it is you know
specific it is actionable
so anyway current projects working on
YouTube and I'm working on you know
figuring out how to get out of my own
way additionally I mean I have niche
sites going right so there's one niche
site where I am building up the writing
team I mentioned the other day I mean it
should have on the level of like you
know 25 to 30 articles per week being
completed
I'm the writing team so I mean I'm going
you know all went on kgr content
publishing a lot and just you know
making it work it worked well last year
and if you know something's working you
should do more of it if stuff is not
working you should do less so super
simple and I'm trying to apply that
YouTube's going well trying to do more

promoting $25 items yeah go for it I
promote items that are like I don't know
couple bucks
so there's no there's no limit if if
people buy them then I'll take the
Commission I'm going for a volume play
in general I wouldn't you know base your
whole site on very cheap products but a
blend of products is totally cool q Don
says I've read that it's important to
hide your affiliate links for Google for
SEO is that true no it's not true
do I just use a cloaking plug-in to make
Amazon links nofollow no I don't do that
either I just use the links from Amazon
super simple and LeBron says I can
cloaking links it's not allowed you're
not allowed to like cloak links but you
can use a tool like genius link and you
know it's a genius link URL that it's
passed through you think you should make
sure that the user knows when they're
clicking on that link that they're going
to Amazon so however you want to do that
you could do that like cloaking links to
like sort of hide the fact that it's
going to Amazon is not good but you can
use like genius link and stuff like that
those are fine and by the way we do have
we have 29 people on which is awesome so

niche sites so yeah I do coaching Skype
calls they're expensive but I do enjoy
doing them they it's fairly limited
obviously takes time I usually do you
know and how we're prepped before the

people are not at a point where you know
I can help them it may be better if I
just point them towards like certain
areas of information certain videos but
you know the one-on-one sessions are
great if you need specific help or if

that don't work so yes

learning about the kgr and you went
ahead for the last two weeks down him
down you come up with about 80 topics
how quickly will I see results after
publishing some of these so number one
thing to do stop finding more eighty is
more than enough
you only need like tend to get started
and this is you know this is a way to
get wins fast so you'll see results in
like a couple days like maybe a day so
get one of them written Paul and publish
it and then tell me in the next live
stream I think which will be on
Wednesday I'm not 100% sure but probably
Wednesday so once it goes live let me
know where it shows up cuz it's probably
going to show up if you did the kgr like
by the formula exactly you should be
ranking like in the top fifty like
immediately so if you have eighty of
them then you publish them you should
get like one to two visitors to each of
the articles each day so if you do the
math right so if you publish all those
you should be getting like eighty
hundred visitors to your site today of
course it's not trivial
kay the articles written to publish them
all that stuff that takes time of course
but I mean you get results fast alright
paul also says in what publishing
schedule would it recommend and PS you
haven't done kid yard before okay
however you want to do it publishing
schedule doesn't matter I'm at a point
where you know I'm always the bottleneck
and what I'm doing I'd like to have a
pretty lean team and that means that I'm
the bottleneck that's basically what it
means so I'm probably in the next you
know a few days I'm gonna publish like
60 articles so I don't think it really
matters a publish as many as you know 25
or so in a day and they all started
ranking just like they're supposed to so
however you want to do it if you you
know if your pace is like one per week
then do one per week if it's ten per
week do that if you can publish more
publish more the schedule doesn't matter
at all and richer duck you know pops in
it also says don't cloak so yeah yeah in
generally shouldn't cloak to be
misleading but if you use a tool like
genius link that is okay Samira says I

mess this week so theoretically when you
check the all in title for potential
keywords and there are less than 10
pages ranking if you publish an article
can you rank immediately without
backlinks when you say there are less
than 10 or 10 pages ranking do you mean
10 all in title results I think that's
what you mean and if so yes where you
rank exactly will vary right usually in
the top 50 depends on how old your site
is your site is Mira
it will probably rank pretty quickly and
you'll probably rank like in the top 15
sometimes you go like in the top 5 that
happens
um LeBron says Lorraine says why do some
of my posts disappear from Google search
after they were indexed before I'm no
idea I have been hearing that a little
bit recently if you just if you google
specifically the title of the article
does it not show up that's what I'm
curious about Jeff what's up thanks for
joining in when you are writing a top X
product I post how many words should
each item have for this right now last
month a member said he was at 2,500
words total you said that was way too
short cool all right so when you're
starting when you're just starting your
site 2,500 words is probably okay if you
can Jeff I know you you may be able to
you may have the budget to hire more
writers right so if you have the budget
or not hire more writers that have more
content written if you have the ability
to I would say you know make it 10 to 20
percent longer than your top three
competitors so your top three niche
sites for that term when you go look at
their site you go look at the number of
words on their site using a tool called
SEO quake it's free tool it's a Chrome
extension or a browser extension so you
can just see the word count immediately
aim for like 10 to 20 percent longer
than theirs that's what I would do your
specific question how many words should
each item have four it's right up well
that depends I usually like to do like
250 to 500 so I'll usually start on the
low end 250 and then as the Critical
gets more traction maybe I go and have a
writer beefed up each one of those
sections and had more say user
experience type information or commonly
asked questions and add you know 300
more words to each one items also you
can add like
ten more items on there right there's
almost no limit on how long you can make
it because each one of those products
will have specific questions that are
asked in the Amazon reviews so you just
go over to Amazon and you can extract
information you cannot copy them that
you could extract information putting
your own words putting the voice of that
post and then you can basically make a
post you know as long as you want it to
be alright good question Jeff Paul says
I may find the key word like balloons
for kids as a great kgr but when you try
balloons best balloons for kids all of a
sudden the top 10 sites and higher
competition sites appear do I have
experience with video marketing okay so
I guess Paulo that's like a follow up so
Oh have you published any kgr content
yet and basically you're just gonna have
to try it you're gonna have to have
faith in the formula and all the other
people that keep telling you like in
these chats like people are like yeah I
publish them and they ranked like it
works so just don't worry about it
I would say you need to probably go for
buyers keywords so you need to have like
best balloons for kids like you unless
you just want to get traffic to your
site but a lot of times if you know if
you're not using a buyer's keyword
there's a lot of ecommerce sites on
there and those are harder to compete
with this is a different kind of search
and that sort of thing so Powell
have you done have you published kgr
content and then if the answer is no
then publish to three articles let me
know next week what happens cue dog says
do you have experience with video
marketing for a niche with a niche site
project to get traffic ie video and home
remedies for foot health which would be
posted

definitely work YouTube is a great route
if you have the ability to make videos
if you have the skills to do the light
editing I would go for it I think those

measure rol and link building investment
okay sorry
must be ROI so I could use the context
and figure out what that is
are there any tools to measure done
specifically that I know of I would say
you know just use a spreadsheet but I
don't know I don't think you can
actually do it unless you're only
building links in a super slow pace or
you're doing some sort of experiments so
I would avoid thinking about it in that
way and just rely on like worthwhile
link building ideas tactics Adrian says
you have an item that you would like to
make a niche site around but the
companies that sell or hire the item
don't have an affiliate program how
would you recommend for you to approach
then I would say get your list make a
list of 50 of the companies that you
went to approach and started the at the
bottom the people that you would want to
work with the least sort of the smaller
companies call them up and talk to them
about what you want to do and then see
what happens you're starting at the
bottom of your list the least I guess
like what am i trying to say the people
that you want to work with Ally
because you're going to make mistakes
and you're gonna be able to refine your
process so start at the bottom and then
once you sort of you know you make like
eight or ten calls you know what the
handle on the questions that they're
gonna ask things that they want to know
you'll be able to approach the people
that you really want to work with with a
better script a better game plan and
that sort of thing but my real advice
Adrian is to you know maybe if you're
not experienced with the affiliate
marketing model to just work on Amazon
or some other big you know whatever
affiliate program you want to work with
work with something established so you
can like develop the skills around
affiliate marketing and then you know I
would say if you if you came to me and
you were like hey I want to start a blog
and there's no traffic and I want to
have an affiliate program I would tell
you to come back when you have like
traffic to your site so that's the first
thing I would say you know learn the
skills elsewhere and then try and figure
out how to break into that you know this
area that doesn't have affiliate
marketing in it yet Danish says let's
see I must have missed danishes
so Danish it says cuz it's copying a few
lines of my article for my site and
showing it as an excerpt and in in
return you receive a backlink so well
that Hartmann Google ranking it sounds
like you it looks like maybe you deleted
your question or all your Danish but
basically it looks like someone is
curating the content of your site and
yes it potentially could harm your
Google ranking if lots of sites are
doing it if it's just one site it's not
a huge deal but if you get like dozens
of these it could be a problem
Paul says do I recommend putting caves
your content is part of existing content
to approve improve them not necessary
I usually publish new stuff new post but
Paul if you are if you're talking about
changing the title and some of the
content so it follows the KPR sure
that'd be viable if you're talking about
just adding a section to an existing
article using kgr stuff it may or may
not work I would avoid it I just
published new stuff Matthew says dude
kgr has been producing 4 to 5 articles a
day instead of one long one trying to
rank uncompetitive loser keyword you
save me so much wasted time awesome
Matthew are they ranking that's cool I'm
just good to hear that and I think I
think it's very interesting because
there's a lot of different models of
building an affiliate site and Amazon
affiliate sites specifically I call them
niche sites but really you know some
people call them Authority sites like
Authority hacker those guys are you know
really smart their model is a little bit
different than mine but I think like
putting out kgr content is a way to get
quick wins fast you know their model is
more what I hear people who have gone
through the course then mentioned that
you know they're trying to launch sites
trying to have people launch sites with
like hundred articles 50 articles
whatever like a lot of content and it's
kind of hard to launch from 0 to get
that much content written maybe never
hired people before and you're trying to
hire a bunch of writers to do this
content and then you know four months go
by and like you have no revenue you
spent you know thousand dollars on
course you've gone and spent another
thousand dollars on content and then you
have like zero traffic to your site and
you're just getting started building I
mean that's disheartening my model is
like like I'm telling people today
publish like two three articles
published ten articles get traffic like
start getting a small when if you start
getting a little bit of traffic through
these cagey are like longtail keywords
like people are gonna buy stuff if
you're not gonna be able to quit your
job but like you'll see that it works
and then you're gonna win you can move
forward because you know that it works
it's pretty tough to embed
thousands of dollars and like not
knowing that's gonna work if you only
invest you know fifty bucks on you know
three articles publish them start
getting the trickle of traffic you see
that it works and you can move forward
with a little more confidence all right
lorraine asks using the KGB method which
I don't know what the KGB nothing but
I'm gonna guess it's kgr how many
keyword searches per month should I go
after at the minimum zero I go after
zero searches per month all the time
in fact when I prioritize what content
I'm gonna publish first I usually go for
zero search volume first you want to
know why right it's because no one else
is everyone's going after larger like
larger volume keyword it's byte if I'm
doing the opposite then it's interesting
and it's different so I'm trying to do a
little bit different than what other
people are doing so I go after zero
search volume row row hon ass what is
kgr I was gonna change your life it's
it's fantastic so it's a data-driven way
to find keywords that no one else is
targeting there's a whole video on it
it's ten minutes long I'm sure someone
will post a link to it but if not you
could just go in search for a keyword
golden ratio and I should pop up to the
top I hope it look for in YouTube the
video is is helpful how much do we

if so welcome it's the key word golden
ratio and you probably heard me say just
a minute ago just a data-driven way to
find keywords that is you know number
one is manual there's really no way to
automate it
it takes time again part of this is why
it works there was a tool that could
just spit out all these kgr terms then
the value would go damn sure it's hard
to publish a lot of content you have to
hire writers there's a system around
that but I mean really the thing is it's
a manual way to find keywords also so if
there's an automated way to do something
marketers like us will ruin them and
then the value goes away at this point
to my knowledge you can you know maybe
string together some tools to provide
you some information about the kgr but
it requires using you know proxies and
like sophisticated software that's
fairly technical I don't even mess with
it but anyway keyword golden ratio
there's a video on it check it out
and I actually need to do a fresh video
on that and Ivan what's up first-time
viewer welcome glad to have you on what
would you say is the minimal budget for
somebody attraction on a site and make
some money about $200
you can get a year hosting for 70 bucks
or something like that and then you can
buy a premium theme of your choice the
theme actually it doesn't matter that
much like just you want something that
is easy to use because you want to spend
your time on valuable things like
finding caviar terms and hiring writers
or writing into content yourself
WordPress themes is a commodity right
it's just a tool and you need it to stay
out of your way so it needs to load fast
and it needs to be easy to use so 200
bucks is probably minimum you're gonna
have to do the writing yourself and your
question is with $500 be okay yeah and
basically I mean you only need to spend
like $100 in a first like month or so
you don't need to spend money upfront
this is like $500 over like four months
so and if you want to hire writers well
then the equation changes a little bit
you need more money of course but if
you're if you wanna do it on the cheap
you use free keyword research tools like
keywords everywhere there are economic
tools like keyboard ken that's what I
use and I like that a lot
Matthew says Doug your video on silo of
nut silos was perfect you listen to it
while working out and you came home and
you remove the deep silos
it feels feels good yeah so the thing is
silos aren't interesting it's a nice way
to organize a site if you know what it's
going to grow into over time but
oftentimes we have no idea so the side
lobe idea is a good one as far as
organization it's very structured but
you really don't need it doesn't matter
that much so there was probably a day
where it mattered more but at this point
it's hard to architect the site and
there's no value and like rigidly
planning something out
that is just gonna change in the future
so maybe fun to sketch it out and see
what you come up with but it doesn't
really matter I publish everything with
puffs in Matthew thanks for saying that
I'm glad that you got something out of
it all right yeah got a lot of questions

when I hire a writer do I send them what
keywords to use and how many of them to
use as well no I don't do either of
those things I'd give them the title and
then I'd give them a template of how to
structure it Adrian if you go to the
first email that had a link to the
15,000 keywords you'll find templates
from a Content those are the ones you
need I don't want like an SEO writer
usually they're terrible they do keyword
stuffing and they don't really
understand what I'm trying to do so I
just give them a title and I give them
the the template on how to write this
how to get the right sources that I want
them to use and then it works well so I
don't really look at keywords that way
unfortunately a jury says unfortunately
you could see me
the connection is bad so if I had time
to answer you'll check it offline and so
forth and Adrian is asking about
coaching so I see you pasted your email
address so I'll have a look at that I'll
actually go ahead and pop up email so I
don't forget there and cool so so
basically it it is not good to have the
right or try to do SEO stuff so I just
have them write it normally write it
naturally it works out well okay
Lorraine says the title is not showing
up and you don't see it you have to
fetch it using the Google search console
every noun dead
okay interesting that's a callback to
the question from earlier and basically
I don't know why I hear that
occasionally so I would say you know
fetch it again see what happens I would
probably make sure you have you know two
to five internal links from your other
pages going to the one that is not
showing up just to make sure and I would
also like build links to that page even
if it's just through like blog
commenting I have a video on that as
well so you could check out the blog
commenting video and you'll be able to
get like a couple links to it just you
know a handful game for like ten or so
blog comments using a method of comment
love I can't go into the detail so
please watch the video Lorraine and
basically you'll be able to hopefully
take care of that issue I'm not sure
what the problem is mary says why would
Google rank the wrong page for a keyword
I don't know it happens and you can try
and make some adjustments on it and see
what happens you could try and do some
internal linking using the keywords you
and rank for it and you do partial match
longer phrases but use the keywords
you're trying to rank for sometimes it
just doesn't do anything and you have to
adjust and tejana is on welcome back she
was on vacation for a while and yeah we
gruesome over the last little bit so
yeah we have like 34 viewers and it
looks like at least a handful people
gave a thumbs up if I answered your

investment alone how much investment

it'll cost if I had to throw out a
number I'm gonna have to give you a
range but I would say probably between
like five hundred and a thousand dollars
to get like the links you need through
outreach and I'm talking like hiring a
writer to do it or not a writer the
hiring VA outreach manager to do that
stuff for you I'm not a hundred percent
sure that that's like the ballpark gonna
give you will also probably take about
four to eight months something like that
to get some significant significant
traffic and do I have time to help you
yeah absolutely

hourly rate is in the 247 range as of
today so if you if you want to look at
it we can I do you know

actually prefer not to have done for you
sites I think a lot of times I mean the
questions that you're asking right we
think rate a perspective buyer things so
you're actually gonna save time but if
you just buy if you buy a premade site
like you don't have the skills to get
the traffic so you're in the position
that you're describing right now you
have the funds to buy a site you get it

things I'm the bottleneck so I was doing
some of this keyword research and I was
too slow at it so I was like Jim knows
how to do it he's really good at finding
him so there's not really a process it

coffee and talk about it so um I would
say if you were trying to do it it's
just a matter of you know showing them
the video making sure they're using like
the right Google like version for
whatever they're you know they're gonna
be located maybe not where you're at you

for links alright so here's the here's
the cold hard truth Bicas there's a lot
of shit that's just boring and that's
why we call it work so you could pick
what you want to do and if you find it
boring that's totally cool I will tell
you I find it boring so I don't do it I
usually hire someone to do it but in the
beginning I did it all myself
I've gotten you know dozens and dozens
probably hundreds of links through this
like outreach stuff and that's how I
refined like the process the vs would
would go through if you find stuff
boring then one tip that I have is to
like once you get the core stuff down
it'll be interesting at first because
you'll start getting a little traction
but like what happens is you have a
choice right you can try to do something
different a lot be creative novelty
right like as humans we crave novelty
and we want to do new things and you
know people claim I'm an entrepreneur I
have a TD like I just got to keep moving
to other projects usually that doesn't
work out awesome they're definitely
exceptions but usually it doesn't work
out awesome because there is value and
sticking with something and working
through the nuance of the boring stuff
so the thing is like to be an expert or
to be a master in an area like you have
to spend time on
the nuance of it and stick with it and
for me like I'm finding new stuff to
work on but I did enjoy doing outreach
so much which I learned over the course
of like eight to ten months but what I
am good at is like applying systems and
processes and templates to things so I
found it interesting to figure out how
to get myself out of that and work on
the systems so if you can figure out the
aspect that you find interesting of this
outreach stuff which is inherently
boring I mean this is just doing the
same thing over and over again it's
gonna get boring so like you have to
figure out what do you like about that
and then you know make it personal do

sources have I experimented with
Facebook Pinterest Twitter of
experiments it with Facebook and
Pinterest I've done some ads if you are
approaching the like if you have a
decent amount of traffic and you have a
tracking pixel like you can do some
pretty decent like retargeting on
Facebook and actually probably to do
some of that myself but like overall I
didn't find it as a highly converting
valuable like source for me to do so
it's possible I've tried Pinterest and I
think you know depending on the niche it
can work really well however I do
believe it's one of those areas where
like it takes four six eight weeks to
get started and if you're into Pinterest
you know back to the point with vicus
like if you're into Pinterest then it's
gonna be easy right you could spend your
time pinning developing relationships
and like working through the process but
if Pinterest is boring like I'm not into
Pinterest or generally social media so
like Pinterest I tried it and it didn't
work for me I actually hired one of my
friends she's actually into Pinterest
she's good at it I bought a course for
her she went through it she worked on it
for a while like four to six weeks there
was
very little traction and due to like
scheduling with her and her some trips
that she was planning I just pulled the
plug and I was like I'm better at SEO
I'm just gonna stick with that so free
traffic sources that can't work but all
that all of them will have a commitment

first site you're probably nothing to
hit it out of the park
so it's a learning process you have to

another product line a different area of
