Google
Trends is actually an
indicator of how
much a subject is trending
and when that
trends it basically means
that a lot of
people are searching for
that subject
online and today I really
want to take a
deep dive into how you can
leverage
these trends to make
yourself a full
time income or if you have
a business
you can leverage trends to
make yourself
get more views get more
attention and
stuff like that so to
really really
drive this point home I'm
gonna show you
some examples of some
trending topics
and how people have
actually leveraged
those trending topics to
make themselves
a full time income online
and the first
subject I want to talked
about I'm also
gonna have a second subject
so don't
worry if you don't like
this but the
first is crypto currencies
so crypto
currencies as you all know
probably
started in July somber a
summer of last
year and then it just
groups like you
can see right here I've
searched on the
term Bitcoin and as you can
see started
it slowly started going up
in the summer
of 2017 and asked you all
know are you
probably if you haven't
been living
under a rock and absolutely
skyrocketed
a lot of people were
interested a lot of
news channels like regular
people cover
this subject and it was a
worldwide
phenomena map it was a
worldwide
interest at that point and
that's what
is called a trend and then
it slowly
started dying because the
Bitcoin was
just going down in price
and when
Bitcoin is going down in
price people
really don't like their
life people get
depressed and and I
remember every
single day when we went to
Reddit you
can see like a suicide
hotline be on the
top of the subreddit
because a lot of
people got the press but
that's beside
the point we're all talking
about trends
right now so how did people
actually
leverage this to make
themself money
well I'm gonna show you
three different
channels and I'm gonna show
you the
growth of these channels
just based
around trends so the first
channel my
favorite crypto crypto
channel is data -
and as you can see he
started about
right here in August in
August 2017
that's around this point
right here and
as you can see just like
the trending
graph it just grew and grew
and grew and
grew all the way up to
January where it
was the peak of attention
from people
from the media and you can
see he gained
a lot of different
subscribers from that
so you can see at the point
right here
he gained 238 thousand
subscribers just
because he leveraged Google
Trends as
you can see on the other
side as well at
all corn buzz is one of my
absolute
favorite businessmen when
it comes to
cryptocurrency YouTube
channels he
publishes tons and tons of
tons of
videos he has a team that
publishes
videos every single day and
they really
got into this I think with
a business in
mind at least a long term
strategy in
mind before they actually
started but
these people have been
leveraging this
so hard starting their
channel back in
October and within basically
four months
or five months they
skyrocketed their
views they grew insanely
fast because
this was a topic that
really just got
trending at the time and as
you can see
it has been just going down
and down and
down
down because it's not
trending anymore
bitcoin has gone down as I
said
depression people don't
want to look at
their Kryptos because they
only see
minuses but that's beside
the point of
this war and if we look at
the favorite
channel my favorite channel
Ryan him
Hildreth scammers he's
getting sued
right now because he went
to promote a
big Kinect which was a
total scam and
since he promoted a
cryptocurrency
a pyramid scheme he is
getting a
class-action lawsuit on
himself as well
as some other
cryptocurrency YouTube
channels that was huge at
the time that
promoted bid connect
they're all getting
sued right now as you can
see right here
as well Ryan Hildreth
actually started
his channel around making
money online
the same kind of niche that
I am in and
as you can see didn't
really pull off
very well he got a few
subscribers here
a few subscribers there but
as you can
see really not much growth
but then he
completely pivoted his
business over to
cryptocurrencies because he
knew how to
leverage this trend that
was happening
to get himself insane
amount of views
insane amount of
subscribers in a very
very short period of time
but obviously
ever since bit Connect got
cancelled and
everyone lost their money
he has been
losing subscribers a lot
and he tried
continuing his YouTube
channel but with
a reputation that's down
the drain it
doesn't really seem that
funny anymore
getting like 200 300 400
dislikes on
every single video it just
doesn't make
sense to continue doing
YouTube anymore
there's really no way to
redeem yourself
after you sold a bunch of
people a
blatant pyramid scheme scam
which it's
kind of funny because he
probably
already knew that it was a
scam but he
makes so much money with it
so he didn't
really care greedy shitty
asshole
marketers as I would say
myself if you
bought some courses about
how to make
money online a lot of them
are scams but
this one was a blatant
pyramid scam you
couldn't if you have an IQ
over 50 you
prob
we would realize that this
was a pyramid
scheme but those are three
channels that
have made success just
around the
cryptocurrencies a lot of
people grew
their channels from zero to
hero just
from this Google Trends and
it's now
probably making around 300
dollars per
day so now we've looked at
three
different YouTube channels
that grew
from basically nothing to
making a
full-time business online
that is making
them well over three
hundred dollars per
day just because they
leverage these
trends a lot of other
people then the
ones that I showed you
probably hundreds
of YouTube channels grew
around the
cryptocurrency space around
that time
because it was such a hot
topic but let
me show you a different
example because
there isn't every day that
Bitcoin goes
up to the moon and we also
see a lot of
news media channels go
around there
should be a lot of other
small
indicators so I want to go
into star
wars and show you the
Google Trends
right here as well so star
wars drops a
movie every single year at
December as
you can see here right here
they drop
the movie and the trending
it was
trending like crazy right
here as well
trending extended like
December 2016
2017 a lot of people a lot
of people
interested in the new movie
and they're
gonna search online the
Star Wars the
new movie and as you can
see as well if
we close down this these
ones I'm going
to the to Star Wars
channels I'm not
really a big fan of Star
Wars myself I
don't really watch Star
Wars YouTube
channels but this is just
an example but
as you can see January 17th
they grew a
lot of subscribers you can
see January
18 as well grew a ton of
subscribers
right there just because
they're
leveraging Google Trends
the other one
is the other Star Wars
around January
right here was when they
started kind of
their channel they had like
thirty five
thousand subscribers but
right here
around the new movie was
when the
algorithm picked up that
this this was
trending and they shared it
around with
a lot of people because
probably they
had a lot of great content
you can see
right here January 17th a
lot of
subscribers right
it goes down because of the
trending and
then it goes up around December
2018
just like the Google Trends
are saying
so for a practical example
of doing this
you would start your
YouTube channel
around November and then
you will make a
lot of videos all the way
up to December
when the new launch is
there to leverage
those trends accordingly
another example
that I can just come up
with is just
Trump and I remember this
specifically
because I watch a channel
that's called
a charisma on command a
very good self
development YouTube channel
and I
remember so specifically
around this
time when there was the
election that
charisma on command would
actually make
videos around Trump making
videos like
why Trump will destroy
Hillary or the
seven signs that Trump will
win over
Hillary and stuff like that
and he went
into the mentality and the
social skills
that Trump actually had in
the
persuasive skills that
Donald Trump had
over the media to actually
do be able to
win the election and he
actually won
which is insane which for a
Norwegian is crazy it's
insane
that you can have a president
that's
Donald Trump but I'm not
hating I'm just
thinking a reality TV star
as a
president I didn't really
want to have
that in Norway that would
never ever
happen but once again you
can leverage
these trends to get more
growth and I do
this very very often with
something I
call micro trends which is
because there
really isn't that many huge
spike like
these that you can actually
leverage and
use for your channel but
there are tons
and tons of tons of micro
spikes that
you can leverage and get a
ton of use
like that that is what I
