what's up guys welcome back to another
video and in today's video we're gonna
be talking about four things the
dropshipping gurus do not tell you about
dropshipping that I feel are very very
important especially if you're starting
a drop shipping store if you're
struggling with your drop shipping store
or if you've just got an inter drop
shipping these things are very very
important to your drop shipping journey
now my name is Franklin if you're new to
my channel I work online that's what I
do that's how I make my money by flip
stores and if you're new to drop should
you want to get into drop shipping there

videos on my youtube channel where you
can watch other videos based on drop
shipping there are tons in there and
there's ones that will take you through
step by step on how to actually start
your drop shipping business
so guys will jump straight into this
today because this is a very very
important topic and the number one thing
the first thing I should say and I feel
this is very very important that a lot
no one really tells you screenshots guys
when you see screenshots earnings it's
not all profit and this is something
that you really need to understand from
the beginning now I know most of you are
probably very smart you already know
this you've already figured it out but I
do a lot of people that ask me you know
how much how much profit is in these
screenshots is all of it profit and
things like that so I need to really
cover this when you see a screenshot
list say $100,000 okay pretty standard
stuff you see a lot of them around you
need to kind of figure out the average
conversion rate of Shopify stores now
based on the stuff that I've seen it's
about 20 to 30 percent now what happens
is a lot of people see screenshots and
the nice cards and stuff and they think
okay I've just got to go start a drop
shipping store make $100,000 and I can
go get a nice current stuff yeah you can
payment for a car sure but you need to
understand Texas profits spending paying
for products and all of that sort of
stuff so back to my percentages let's
just say we have a store that sample
screenshot hundred thousand dollars all
right pretty standard and the conversion
rate is 30% let's say after paying for
your shop are your facebook ads after
paying for your products after paying
for a few other things you have thirty
thousand dollars left well that's
actually not
profit either you have to pay text and
depending on your country the tax rates
varies some countries pay no tax I think
in the and like the and Dubai and stuff
like that now I'm not a hundred percent
sure however and where I'm from my
company my online company for my Shopify
stores I have a company specifically for
my stores has to pay twenty eight
percent so that thirty thousand dollars
twenty eight percent of that goes to the
government then whatever is left is mine
so that hundred thousand dollars has
gone from a hundred thousand to thirty
then to actually even less with the tax
and you guys whatever money you earn you
have to declare it declare the text
because if you don't and you get caught
well you're gonna get audited and you're
gonna be in quite a bit of trouble so
that's the number one thing a lot of
people don't tell you that these
screenshots are gross they are not
they're not profit okay profit comes out
of that and you should have an
accountant also to make sure your
accounting is an order
now when you start obviously you don't
really need to worry about that when I
first started my own business I didn't
worry about contacting an accountant for
a few months after because I'd because I
didn't I had time right you don't have
to start a business straight away well
in my country anyway as long as I keep
track of everything go to an accountant
then we started the business and now she
tracks everything I just get a report
every month of profit that I can spend
after taxes okay so it's very very
important to look at these screenshots
as a gross earnings okay not profit
because this is gonna bring you into the
drop shipping drop shipping game with a
completely different mind frame then if
you looked at it as profit okay so just
remember that that is very very
important the second thing guys is I
don't tell you that Facebook Ads is
actually a learning curve I'm not gonna
say Facebook Ads are hard I was gonna
say that in this video whose Facebook
ads are a learning curve you weren't
learning when you jump in when you jump
into Facebook ads and I say Facebook ad
as with us pretty much the biggest
platform we use for dropshipping it's
simple you're not going to be able to
jump in and start making profit
straight away it's gonna take you a
while I would say at least a couple of
weeks maybe a course or two to actually
learn Facebook Ads it's a learning curve
a lot of trial and error and if you have
had absolutely no experience with
Facebook Ads
you're gonna find it very very hard to
get a grasp of things when you first
jump into the platform so this is why
it's very very important to jump in with
of it at the same mind frame as I'm
gonna have to learn Facebook Ads okay
I'm not gonna say it's hard because
actually not hard once you get the hang
of it but Facebook Ads are a learning
curve and once again you don't get told
this because they don't want you to know
when I advertise all of my stuff I
always say that Facebook is quite a hard
platform to and work around but once you
get the hang of it guys
you're gonna start making very very good
money but just remember trial and error
don't be scared when things don't go
your way keep working at it keep working
at it and you're gonna have a very
successful store once you just keep
going through Facebook and learning it
right there's plenty of places you can
learn Facebook Ads guys one of the best
places to learn about Facebook Ads is on
the Facebook Ads business blog itself
okay they hold webinars they are in the
Facebook live our live group as well
they hold webinars they are write blog
posts you can get all the updates there
and that is really the best thing to
learn because you're getting the word
from the horse's mouth all right it's
their platform they know what's going on
they know how everything works and blogs
are okay but the there's a lot of them
from misinformation on it guys okay so
that's number two all right make sure
you know their Facebook ads and not as
easy as a lot of people a lot of people
a lot of people say and it is a learning
curve
all right guys number three and this one
is very very big as well and it tends to
push a lot of people away from using
Shopify now if you're in a country where
you can only use PayPal for your payment
process of which I used to actually only
have access to when I started so a lot
of people out they say you need to use
something like stripe you need to use
something like travefy payments because
you need to have a credit card
on your thought process payments because
you lose sales this is absolutely not
true
so when I started my first store in New
Zealand here I only had PayPal right
there was that now I could have gotten
started a merchant account with my bank
but it was very very expensive it wasn't
worth it for me so I started my Shopify
store with just one payment processor
and that was PayPal I did that for over
six months and it worked very very well
and inside my Facebook group we also
have guys inside the Facebook group that
do just PayPal because they don't have
access to anything else in their country
and they do very very well
now do we lose sales from not having a
credit card check out on a stop yes
probably did my sales increase when I
finally added stripe to my store
absolutely however I was making profit
with just PayPal so don't if that puts
you off starting a drop shipping
business it's very important to get past
that and start a start your drop
shipping business because you're just
missing out if that holds you back
so just remember guys you don't have to
have Shopify payments you don't have to
have a credit card processing platform
you can run your Shopify store with drop
shipping store solely off PayPal and
pretty much every single country as far
as I know has access to PayPal on the
Shopify platformer right nice and easy
you can start your store you can go and
get a free shuttle flight trial you can
go and link your PayPal you can go on
start learning Facebook ads and you can
start hopefully making some profit from
your store as quick as possible
timeframe not a hundred percent sure
that'll be up to you but you should be
able to learn Facebook and stuff pretty
pretty quickly pretty quickly I should
say and start to get money rolling
within a couple of weeks we try to aim
to get people to earn money in the first
month the fourth and final thing guys is
also very very important this is
customer support pretty much no one
tells you that you need to run a
customer support system if you don't
you're gonna have problems
why because customers are always right
they always come first and that's just
the way it's going to be forever
okay if your customer wants a refund
you've got to give it to them
if your customer has problems and charge
back you've got to fix that with your
dropshipping store you're gonna have to
do customer support and no one tells you
that why it was a makes this business
look hard now its customer support hard
absolutely not what you want to do is
set up a separate email for your
customer support when you're starting
out you're not gonna get much customer
support you're gonna send out your items
and stuff like that then you're actually
going to start to get your mail emails
for slow shipping times these are very
very easy to handle just you should have
shipping disclaimers on your pages
anyway but just to remind them that
you're shipping takes a little bit
longer because it comes from overseas
and then redirect them back to your
disclaimers but customer support is
really the foundation of your business
because people put their go on to your
Facebook page they're going to leave bad
reviews if you give them bad customer
support and drop shipping is a great
business model however in the long run
you should be looking to brand out and
do private label stuff which this is
that's for a whole nother video but you
need to think long term and long term
involves cuts at customer support very
good very good customer support so if
you want to jump into Shopify guys if
you want to start after our drop
shipping journey you need to be prepared
to either do this support yourself or
hire someone from upwork or one of those
Philippines sites I think it is where
you can hire someone for very cheap to
do the support for you however if you do
do that there's a little bit of a
problem because you have to train them
trust me guys I've been through this
many times I've had a lot of very bad
virtual assistants you can't just hire
someone and say do this for me because
they're not going to know what to do you
have to train them how your system works
give them access to your emails and
train them from start to finish so what
I suggest guys when you're actually
starting your drop shipping store make
sure you're prepared to put away a few
hours per day to sit down and deal with
customer support if you have to okay
this is very very important try not to
build your team up when you start your
store okay you should be very hands-on
when you start so you know what's going
on obviously
you can change things and make the store
run how you want it to run so I feel
that customer support is one of the most
important things and I know this from my
stores we have very very good customer
support and we really have no trouble
with hardly any charge backs our paper
has never been limited directly from
Shopify transactions or drop shipping
and we have a very very good reputation
and we've also now built have a very
very good support team what you can do
in the future once you actually train
people after you've got your store
started all right guys that's four
things you need to watch out for when
starting your drop shipping store number
one is these screenshots okay be very
very careful of those and that's very
very important its profits and gross you
need to separate those two we'll try to
separate that to those two and I go off
a 30% conversion because kind of the
average I've seen now don't get me wrong
spending a hundred thousand dollars to
make back thirty thousand absolutely
amazing alright that's a pretty good
return on investment but just be careful
when you see those screenshots guys
don't look at the hundred K and say well
that guy's made a hundred thousand
dollars because in reality there's a
facebook cost product cost and most
importantly taxes so even if someone
says they've made 30 K profit or 100 K
profit this put it put into perspective
if someone's made a hundred thousand
dollars profit in my country they've got
to give twenty eight thousand dollars of
debt back to the government okay so a
hundred thousand comes down pretty
quickly when text comes into play the
second thing guys pretty simple make
sure you don't jump into facebook ads
and you think it's very very easy
because there's a learning curve alright
that one's pretty straightforward number
three if you worried about starting a
drop shipping store because you've done
in a credit card payment process or
whatever it's called in your country
simply just use pay power right don't
worry about people saying that you need
to have a third party credit card
processor a processing company because
you don't I started with just PayPal
right in the first six months and number
four guys make sure you have your
customer support down packed all right
you need to have customer support that's
the foundation of any business if you
don't have good customer support your
business will probably fail burn to the
before we even started making a good
profit all right guys that's the four
