for beginners this is part 5 and in this

video will show you how to get

registered with Amazon Associates

affiliate program and a few things to

consider how not to get banned with

Amazon Associates because Amazon among

the rest of the affiliate programs

affiliate networks is one of the

strictest and they literally can ban

without even thinking as soon as you as

soon as they spot that you're breaking

their Terms of Service they can ban you

easily no matter how big you are how

many sales you you generate for them if

you don't really care they're extremely

strict and you have to take care with

them and let's begin so how to get

registered with Amazon Associates a

first thing you have to do you have to

go to their Amazon Associates a fillip

website its affiliate - programmed

amazon.com I will drop a link below in

the description of the video and now

before you get registered with them it's

really important to choose the country

the country where you want to promote

the products let me explain you a bit

better so for example my websites are

oriented are aimed for United States

market therefore I get registered with

amazon.com and I can get Commission only

if my customers my visitors will buy

products on amazon.com if for example

they click a link on my website to

amazon.com check out that product but

they for example are from from the

United Kingdom and they will go to

amazon.com you K and buy that same

product on Amazon that code dot UK then

I will not get any Commission at all so

this is the tricky part of Amazon Amazon

affiliate program therefore if you are

from from the UK and you will be

promoting driving traffic from from the

game market from the UK websites then

get registered we like in the with

Amazon UK if you are from France or

Spain or Germany or any other country

you can see right here the list of the

available countries then click on that

country and get registered with them

it's really important so after you chose

your country in my case it still will be

United States click login

if you already have Amazon account if

you still don't have Amazon account not

even affiliate program but like general

Amazon account where you buy stuff for

yourself then you can click join now for

free and then after you login with your

Amazon account then you will be able to

apply for Amazon Associates I will not

walk you through the whole application

process because it's pretty simple

all straight forward you all you have to

do is fill out all the fields that come

up on your screen and you will see the

the mandatory screens to fill out so

it's really easy and straightforward the

only thing you have to consider before

applying to Amazon Associates affiliate

program is to have is to have content

already published on your website they

will ask for the link to your website

and they will review your website this

is the reason why this video how to get

registered with Amazon Associates

affiliate program goes after I showed

you how to write content because you

have to publish those articles to your

websites before you apply for an

associate affiliate program if you will

write the link to your website without

content or the content will be low

quality really short articles all you

will have on your website just Amazon

products you know pictures with short

description or even worse copy pasted

description from Amazon and the seed

without any additional articles any

additional information Amazon will

decline your application and you will

never get your affiliate account unless

you will improve your website and add

more content but yeah you will have to

apply for Amazon Associates affiliate

program after you prepare your website

now after you get approved with Amazon

Associates affiliate program you will

have the possibility to create affiliate

links and how they look let me show you

and how to do them as well so this is

the account of Amazon Associates

already active the one that I used to

promote my affiliate program my philip

products with amazon and let's say I

want to promote these pairs of sugar

this pair of shoes

so I'll click to the product

and as you can see right here I have

Amazon Associates size stripe it's

basically a toolbar to quickly create

links affiliate links to the products

all pages of Amazon so I can create

usually I use just this one you can

create image with the link your

affiliate link or you can create a

philip text link with image but I

typically usually create just text link

and yeah so right here you choose store

ID then you choose tracking ID these

things you don't really need right now

it's because I have few websites and I

keep tracking of each website each

property separately that's why I need

multiple tracking IDs to know which

website brings me sales so for now you

will be totally good with just one store

ID and one tracking ID so you don't

really need to bother about it and as

you see you can create full link which

is really long and ugly and I don't

recommend you to use it short link is

just fine and and that's it so I just

copy this short link and if I paste this

link into a browser I will arrive to

this same page of the issues but let's

imagine if now arrived a visitor of my

website that click that link and arrive

to this website so it created cookie in

his in that person's browser that would

mean that if within the next 24 hours

that visitor will buy these shoes or

will buy any other product on Amazon I

will get commission from from this sale

within the next 24 hours so this how

I feel that marketing with Amazon

actually works in few moments I will

show you something really important

related to Amazon Associates affiliate

program if you will not apply that to

your website you may get banned from

Amazon Associates so stay with me

but for now I want to show you the

commission system the what the amount of

commission that you can get for sales

that you drive through your affiliate

links so a few months ago maybe during

this year I think they changed their

commission system and now it's fixed

based on the category of of the product

so as you see PC niche is has one of the

lowest commissions two and a half

percent video games television digital

video games have even lower towards

three percent one of the best niches are

lawn and garden pest products furniture

home home improvement is quite actually

quite wide quite wide niches quite wide

markets and you can find a huge amount

of products to promote in these kind of

niches so if you still haven't decided

what kind of niche to go with you can

consider the Commission and the fashion

is one of the best one because it offers

the whole 10% which is quite big for

Amazon so yeah but you don't have to

actually worry about it it's just for

your general information what to expect

but in reality with this this series of

videos all we need is to make a few

first few sales and we are not really

worried how much of commission we will

get for that so don't worry about it

because we with these series of videos

we are just learning let's say the

basics of Phillip marketing of the

basics of Amazon affiliate

and after you learn these basics you

will be able to start new website

already let's say a long term by doing

your keyword research and so on I

actually plan to create let's say a

little bit more advanced training it

would be totally free where I will show

you how to create self hosted websites

how to do a little bit of email

marketing and how to do keyword research

SEO and let's say a little bit more

advanced stuff at this moment I'm not

sure when exactly it will be out I think

it will take me a few weeks to create it

program guide and there is one thing

that you have to consider it's pretty

much mandatory if you want to work with

Amazon and get commission from promoting

their products and this thing is called

Terms of Service I cannot stress how

important it is to read carefully there

are Terms of Service and just point out

let's say requirements from you as no

feel it because as I commented at the

beginning of the video if you will break

their Terms of Service and policy you

put yourself at risk to get banned from

them and never get accepted ever again

so for that you have to actually go to

these Associates Program policies which

you see probably the link right here in

the browser if you don't see this link I

will

description in any case when you will be

applying to Amazon Associates affiliate

program in the in the process you will

have to accept their policy so at that

moment before accepting that I really

asked you to read it through carefully

and just be aware what they expect from

you to give you a couple of examples

what what is mandatory from their point

of view in order not to get banned the

Amazon asks not asks but demands every

Amazon affiliate member to let's say

disclose the fact that you are

affiliated with Amazon that your links

that lead to Amazon are your affiliate

links and you may get a commission for

every sale this part of the website is

called footer and it's visible on each

page of the website

that's why when you do this in the

footer then it will be visible on each

page of the website no matter what if

you don't want to place it in the footer

or what you can do you can paste it to

you to the end of each blog post and

then you can just make it a little bit

lighter as you can see is Grace offer

visible but still visible you can make

it also smaller or less let's keep it 16

then you can make it italic so it kind

of stands doesn't attract too much of

attention but it's still that however

maybe you can make it a little bit

darker let's say with this gray so that

when Amazon will be checking your

website

they will see that you put that

disclosure so this is another option

that you can do if in case if you cannot

place footer if you chose another

platform to build your website so on one

of the websites I use this system I put

at the end of each blog post and I don't

have any issue with that so this is one

of the examples why you need to read

Terms of Service if you didn't read that

and if I didn't tell you this you would

know that and they wouldn't even accept

you as an affiliate and if they did they

would ban you in some future so the

second example of why you need to

Amazon affiliate Terms of Service is you

cannot put price of any product that

you're promoting on your website from

Amazon

it's against their policy on the other

hand you don't really need to put the

prices because all you need is make

visitors to click your affiliate link

and go to Amazon website and buy that

product here are a few examples that I

use personally and that work really well

you don't have to put all four of them

it's just the example of text that you

can put check the best trail running

shoe I mean instead of trail running

shoes you have to put your product check

the best product on Amazon check price

on Amazon check price and availability

on Amazon check what people say on

Amazon or what other other people say on

Amazon and so you go to Amazon you click

text generate your short link copy then

go to your blog post and right here in

this case for example since it's the

review still hasn't started and I only

mentioned that this particle will be

about trail running shoes I would choose

the first one

so you highlight this text press this

link icon choose web address and place

your link right here and then press ok

keep open link in a new window this way

when they will press this click on your

affiliate link your blog will still be

open and yeah and you an Amazon window

will open in a new tab

ok and thus it as you see is highlighted

it's is a link it's what one person show

you but

let's preview that page here it is so if

I click on this first of all it's

clickable if I click right here I go

through the affiliate link to this

website to Amazon Web sites to that

product page so yeah you can create

products you can create this short link

for example trail running shoes and I

can like this is the result yeah so I

can create right here already for this

whole page of trail running shoes search

results my affiliate link and and post

it in my blog post and when they add is

the clicks to that link it clicks that

link they will arrive to this whole page

of all sorts of trailer running shoes

and if they will buy some shoes or

anything else I will get a commission
