now even though email marketing might be
kind of an old-fashioned way to make
money online not so sexy way you know
with all this new stuff like drop
servicing Facebook Ads retargeting this
Shopify right but I'll tell you what
email marketing has been the lifeline of
my business the past three years you can
see what I'm inside one of my businesses
here and each one of these sales you see
right here on active each one of these
sales is worth around two hundred fifty
dollars in lifetime value because it's a
subscription product just that one email
alone that I sent is worth around two
thousand dollars in lifetime value we
can also go to another one of my
businesses here this was last month back
in December of 2019 you can see I sent
an email out on December 18th right and
we got one customer to customer three
customers for customers five customers
six seven eight nine ten right you can
see all the customers we had just in
that couple day span so that's really
what's possible with building up an
email list and becoming an email
marketer you know simply just because
you know Facebook Ads they can shut down
your account they can shut down your
Facebook page they can shut down your
YouTube account they can shut down your
Instagram but an email list is the only
and especially for me and you guys
watching this who are doing affiliate
marketing right when it comes to
affiliate marketing you're not actually
building your own business because
you're promoting other people's products
for a commission so if you think about
it this is really the only asset of your
business is your email list because you
know for every email I collect I make
around one dollar per month from every
lead right so I can continue building it
up continue sending them value continue
sending them offers and that's
ultimately how you build up a wildly
profitable business using just email
marketing alone so like I said before
there's three steps to actually making
this work and getting started with this
so I want to get into those three steps
in just a second real quick before I do

right so here's the three steps to
getting started making money with email
marketing now step one obviously you
need to give people a reason to give you
their email right no one's just gonna
give you their email for free and I'm
sure you've been on an ad before you've
seen a YouTube video and they gave you
some type of lead magnet whether it's a
free webinar a free ebook and you opted
in right so any ways to really
understand how you're gonna make the
most amount of money from this is to
look at it from a customer view okay
look at it from the actual lead who's
putting their name and email into your
website right so think about it like
this okay so we have a girl named Susan
right and Susan is maybe a little bit
conscious about her weight but she still
likes to you know express her body ball
blog right so anyways this is a
character named Susan and what happens
is Susan is gonna see your ad your
content maybe it's a Facebook ad or
maybe it's just like a little YouTube
video like this and on this YouTube
video that Susan here is watching is
just how to increase your metabolism
because Susan wants to know more about
you know how to lose weight and
metabolism increasing her metabolism was
one of the ways that she found she wants
to get started with right so that's like
the thing she wants to do to lose weight
so that's kind of what we know about
Susan right so for example if you're the
one putting out the YouTube videos
around metabolism or whatever niche
you're in again this will work for any
niche right this is how you got to think
of it as your customers right you got to
look at it from their point of view now
the next step to this like I said in
step one you need a reason for them to
give you their email right so for
example at the end of this video or in
the ad you can say hey if you want a
free book on the 7 main foods to
accelerate your metabolism that'll be
the first link in the description right
so Susan is just going by her day doing
her little hula-hoop here and she sees
that offer right she sees this free book
she's like wow all I have to do is give
him my name and email and they'll send
me over the book sounds like a plan
right and this is where you actually
collect their email so if you want to
see an example this this is just step
one is the opt-in page right so for
example your clothes keep getting
tighter
Titor no matter how much you try to lose
weight find out the main foods that
speed up your metabolism and help with
weight loss
right so they come here they can
download the ebook this is gonna ask for
their name and email and when they enter
that information it's gonna go straight
to this page where Susan can go ahead
and download the book right they can
download and now most importantly you
have the email address so now that you
collected the email address now that you
have that information about them you
know that they're interested in
metabolism now what we can do is we can
start selling products to them that
relate to whatever they opted in for
right so remember we know that this
person is interested in losing weight
because this is exactly what they've
requested to download right this is
exactly what they gave me their personal
email address for okay so now we want to
start this 15 to email follow-up process
because we know something about someone
we know their problem now we want to
introduce a solution so for example on
the email follow-up what you can start
doing is you can start sending them over
to your first product okay so for
example this is like a metabolic cooking
product so basically this product is all
about I'll show you how to create quick
and easy fat burning recipes I'll taste
just like your favorite meals right so
relate to the niche it relates to what
Suzy Susan's goals are here right so
chances are she's gonna buy this product
and this is probably like a forty seven
dollar seventeen dollar product right
you don't want this to be over a hundred
dollars just because we don't have that
much trust built up with the lead yet
with the customer remember this email
fault is only 15 days right there's no
there's no reason to make it longer if
they don't buy a 17 dollar product
within 15 days then they're probably
never gonna buy it right so this is
where I want to give you some tips on
what what to actually do to get people
to buy right what do we need to say what
do we need to prove to Suzy to pull out
her hard-earned money pull out her
credit card and you know type in all the
numbers to actually buy this um as a
rule of thumb you know I like to follow
three things for my email follow-up so
the first rule remember this is spread
out across a span of 15 days or so so
this is the first couple emails
this is where you want to educate on the
problem and how that problem is going to
get worse right so maybe there for
example this problem is they want to
lose weight they've been searching
different ways to lose weight they can't
find the best way so we know that Susy
here and anyone else that comes through
the funnel they're already actively
searching how to lose weight they're
already actively looking for solutions
because this is a more narrow niche
because for example we can see we have
metabolism right it's all about
metabolism so it's more of a sub niche
so we don't really need to educate her
on you know why losing weight is
important because obviously you know she
already knows that what we do need to
educate her on is the problem on why
you're not losing weight right so you in
in the first couple emails we say we
understand you know maybe you've tried
this method you've tried going to the
gym you tried this but you still haven't
lost weight there's a reason for that
right and then we want to get into the
reason that's brings me to the next
couple emails so this is like the in the
middle the 15 day sequence and this is
where we're gonna introduce a solution
that has been hiding from them that will
you know really just give them their
wildest dreams right and what this
solution is right here is metabolism
right now you want to sell why
metabolism is the best way to lose
weight right that's where you kind of
want to introduce really what they opted
in for and then we want to kind of go
into you know the different benefits of
metabolism we want to educate them more
on metabolism and all that stuff and the
more we educate them the more value we
give to her to give the susi right the
more she's gonna trust us and that kind
of leads me to the end where this is
where you know the end at the end of the
15 day sequence the last couple emails
this is where you want to do some type
of urgency bonus offer to push them over
the edge right so maybe suzy has been
thinking about buying this product for a
little bit while now she sees it's you
know it's like forty seven dollars or so
she's so she's really not sure if this
is right for her you know she doesn't
completely trust it yet but she she's
really think about it right well if we
give her a bonus and we say hey Suzy if
you buy this product this is a limb
two time offers gonna close up in the
next 72 hours but if you buy the
metabolism cooking product I'm gonna
give you this bonus this bonus this
bonus for completely free right and you
give them some bonuses to push them over
the edge and then you say even if you
don't like the product they have a full
30-day money-back guarantee so if you
want to cancel you can get your money
back and I'll even let you keep your
bonuses as well right so you just give
them an irresistible offer something
that they cannot pass up and that's
where the sales are really just gonna
skyrocket because as an affiliate
we can't give discounts we can't give
offers the only thing you can do is give
your bonuses right so bonuses is a
crucial part of the scheme we'll follow
up now if I go to the next step what do
we actually do after the follow up right
maybe Suzy bought the product maybe she
didn't bought the product right there's
really only two options there so what
did we do either way we want to keep
emailing Suzy because we still know that
she's interested in losing weight and
ultimately we have an email we still
want to generate money from our email so
for example what we do here we just
talked about the email follow-up on the
left here we sent them two product one
right so that's the first product we
talked about the metabolism cooking
right so if she buys the product she's
what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put Suzy
into my customer list that way I know
anyone who is in this list bought some
type of product for me right whether
it's a seven dollar product a forty
seven dollar product either way I know
there are a buyer and I know that
they're interested in losing weight and
metabolism and all that good stuff and
what I would do with that customer list
since they're really interested since
they trust me more I'm gonna send them
over to $500 plus products I'm gonna
start selling higher ticket products and
just really trying to make more and more
money from each email I collect that way
I can go spend more money on ads to
collect that email right I hope that
makes sense now this is what a lot of
people don't talk about is you know what
to do after the email follow-up and
really this is kind of the secret right
so if they don't buy this product after
the 15 day email follow-up right because
keep in mind around 80% of people 90
percent of people they're not going to
right you can't convert everyone okay I
don't know anyone who has so if they
don't write what you want to do now is
you want to put them into a no-buy list
so any set any type of email marketing
software you can do a little automation
saying hey if they don't take an action
after 15 days then I want you to put
them into another list right and it's
like an automated thing that does it so
now I'm gonna be slowly building up this
novi list and what I can do in this no
bi list is now I can start sending them
other low ticket products right so
instead of sending them like a five
hundred dollar product again right these
people in the know buy lists they never
bought this original forty seven dollar
product so chances are they're never
gonna buy a five hundred dollar product
right but maybe metabolism cooking they
just weren't interested in something
like that so now we want to send them to
another product that's similar but also
low ticket okay so for example on this
no buy list now we want to send them to
an offer like this right
this is metabolism stretching so it's
kind of similar it's just a different
angle so it says how a revolutionary
flow of simple stretch can rapidly melt
body fat toned muscles and leave you
feeling full of energy in just 15
minutes right so this is like another
seventeen dollar product to get them in
the door and it's the same thing once
they buy product too we want to put them
in our customer list and then again the
customer list we're just selling higher
ticket products let's say they don't buy
product two then we find another product
we can do this form we can just keep on
doing this until we have an email list
that is making you know a lot of money
every single month and that's ultimately
the strategy on how to make you know
thousands of dollars a day using email
