another video so today we're going to
talk about ad revenue and how much i'm
making from the YouTube ad revenue and
all this stuff that you gotta do know
you know if you're doing your own line
business if you're starting your online
business one of the ways that you can
actually make money is using YouTube's
ad revenue now I want to share
everything there is to know about it
with you in this video and show you some
examples to explain a couple of really
important stuff you know I've been
running ads on my videos for a while now
it's been a I'd say it's been almost 2
years and I've learned a lot of great
stuff about about Google Adsense and you
know YouTube ads in general you just buy
running ads on my channel so what I want
to do in this video is to share it with
you and see to explain exactly how the
that I've been lucky enough you know
I've been lucky enough to do in my
online business is to not rely on the
revenue that I make through that I
earned through you know YouTube
advertising product sales that I made
through my youtube channel and views and
all that stuff and that's how you should
build your business if you're trying to
build an online business that's really
important you should not rely on the
stuff that you get through YouTube you
know you have a reliable business that
makes you money through your own
advertising and all that stuff so let's
go to my computer I'm going to show you
the ad revenue of some of my top videos
and explain and show you a couple of
things that I've learned about you know
YouTube ad revenue in general and we're
going to talk about some better ways to
make money through YouTube and also just
a couple of special stuff that I want to
share with you alright so let's go over
here and let's get started so I'm right
now I'm in the YouTube studio this is
where you manage your YouTube channel
videos all that stuff so what I'm gonna
do I've already you know sort of the
videos too from the you know the top
ranking videos are basically at the top
right the two most viewed videos so what
I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna click
one of them weren't actually hey I'm
just gonna click on one of them so this
is my top most viewed videos basically
it's like 98 thousand views I believe
now this is really interesting because
the revenue of this one is not the
highest revenue you have earned on a
video which is really really interesting
so they make sure to show you the whole
stats so this video has made me six
hundred eighty seven dollars alright and
it the ads has been running have been
running on this video since 2016 so as
you see you know how many views this
thing has ninety-eight thousand six
hundred eighty seven so it's not a ton
of views right now this video is 10
minutes long almost 11 minutes so that's
the first lesson I learned when it comes
to YouTube Adsense the length of the
video is extremely important alright so
one of the things I did was after
learning some of the stats through this
video I actually changed my strategy on
some of the videos and for example this
is another video I wanted to teach and I
want to show you this one got fifty six
thousand views so it this has
significantly less views than this one
right the first one the first one that I
showed you so if you actually go there
you're gonna see that this one actually
made more money than the previous one
there you go so take a look this video I
got almost half of the views of that one
but made almost twice almost eleven
hundred love a thousand bucks basically
right so the idea here is that you want
to focus on the length of the video this
is another important thing there's
something I've learned you know it's
through doing videos and making videos
and just making money off of these
videos something I learned that let the
length of the video is really important
I think this video got like two
mid-major ol ads you know not more than
that
I don't usually I don't do more than two
mid-roll ads on my
just unless they're really really long
for example one of the videos that got a
ton of ad roles in middle was my longest
video which was the Clickbank video that
was like 55 minutes let me see if I can
find it right here now that one actually
got it's about let's say five six
mid-roll ads I haven't really checked
how much that one has made me so let's
take a look at it so the length of the
video is extremely important guys all
right so let's it's actually there you
go so that's the video so this one got
actually eleven thousand views so it's
not that many right it's just like not
much so if you actually take a look
since it published that this one has
made me tuned in 79 all right so that's
if you actually compared to the fifty
thousand this is actually a lot more so
if you actually say 297 times five
that's going to be a lot more than the
that was the video that I just recently
showed you so as you guys it's all about
the length of the video that's a very
important factor in advertising and we
all obviously retention and all that
stuff all right so now let me talk about
something really important if you really
want to start a YouTube channel and make
money off of it advertising this like
this kind of advertising really should
come second the first way to actually
make money with it is promoting
something promoting products now there
are two ways to promote right number one
sponsored products number two fleet
products the food products are super
easy you know we talked about a free
marketing all the time on my youtube
channel so if you want to learn it check
out some of my other videos but sponsors
are a little bit more complicated for
example I get sponsored offers all the
time but I don't take him usually
because I'm trying to build a brand on
my own YouTube channel if you're not
trying to build a brand if that's not a
concern you could take sponsored offers
as well sponsored offers are you know
usually they pay better because it
depends on your channel your content
depends on a lot of things mainly
because then you actually are sponsored
you get a lump sum of money
and you just take that money and you're
current you know yeah and you can I
believe you could run ads on your
sponsored videos as well not sure about
that but but yeah that's a different
kind of business really so so yeah
that's another way to make money again
the food marketing ISM it's an
incredibly effective way to just make
money from the beginning because the
thing has been with YouTube advertising
you cannot start making you cannot start
running ads immediately on your channel
you should I even think reach 4,000
hours of watch time and I'd say thousand
subscribers that's like a minimum when
you reach that you just can start
running some ads on your videos so
that's just the minimum requirement all
right so yeah so another thing I wanted
to show you is this is something I don't
have the stats but I just wanted to
share this point with you because I've
been actually talking about this you
know like a fluid marketing is really
important if you're trying to make real
money off of your YouTube channel so for
example this video that got me 98
thousand views almost ninety nine
thousand views this video I'm sure I
don't have the stats but because I just
have the short link but this short link
is just sending people to my course and
this is just a tracked link but I'm sure
this video alone has made me in five
figures okay so five figures in cell of
my courses so this is why this is what I
mean that you know weed marketing with
YouTube is a much more effective
strategy than just trying to make money
off of views alright if you pay
attention every youtuber especially in
the entertainment niche everyone has a
different way to make some extra money
you know they have merch they have
products and all that stuff patreon
I don't like patreon but yeah so there
are a lot of different ways and there
are a lot of different ways that
youtubers are using to make money beside
the ads so that's why now Adsense is not
something you should rely on if you're
trying to start your own YouTube channel
