How To Get More Blog Subscribers Using Thrive Leads #Best Education Page #Online Earning

what's up guys welcome back to another

video today I'm gonna be showing you how

you can use the traffic from your blog

and turn it into leads you can send out

usually there's updates promotions

whatever you want to do with that list

I'm going to show you how you can do

that with a plugin called thrive leads

but first what I want you to do I want

you to do me a favor

why don't you go to the description and

I want you to go to the I've created a

quiz because I want to bring my channel

back my channels gone down the road of

e-commerce and shuffle fine that's fine

right I don't mind doing all of that

sort of stuff

but I kind of want to go back to other

stuff I want to go back to the way my

channel originally was we're used to do

SEO other online methods traffic methods

all sorts of stuff so I want you to go

and take a quiz for me because I want to

give you guys the value and content that

you want right these heaps of stuff I

could put out that I want to do I like

to do about I want to put out what you

guys want to see so before we start this

want to see like and there's tons of

stuff I could do about I don't really

just want to randomize that I wonder if

I want to have it I want to do more of a

schedule I want to just do more content

talk about generating traffic if this is

for people with blogs and stuff so if

you don't know I have a travel blog that

I've had for a few years now while quite

a long time now over five years and I do

a lot of affiliate promotions on that

blog and that was my main income source

before EECOM I also have my own blog on

one online dime calm haven't updated it

in a while but it's it's there generated

leads my girlfriend also has a blog that

she started about six months ago which I

kind of run for her I do on the traffic

generation ID or the optimizing for the

leads so technically I run three blogs

right now and there are all very

successful blogs so I'm going to show

you if you run a blog I'm gonna show you

how you can click leads and you know

it's very important to collect leads now

a lot of people don't like to go to

blogs and see pop-ups and dropdowns and

listen that right well the fact of the

matter

it works and can create you an income it

can create a customer base and you can

send out newsletters and updates no more

online diamonds blog doesn't make me

much money it's more of a just dad

standing on the side and makes a little

bit of money but not much biophilia blog

on the other hand my travel blog

it makes me quite a considered about our

money per month so this is how it works

right you get traffic and it comes to

your blog your website whatever you have

and majority of them are gonna leave a

huge percent of them are gonna leave

while they're all they're all going to

leave at the end but you want to try and

get us a small percent or some sort of

percentage onto an email list so you can

do newsletters you can do updates you

can do promotions and it's very like you

guys know that it works because you get

my emails and you get I send you our

emails of when I upload a video when I

do a blog post and you come and view my

content then that's the purpose of an

email and that's why I've created an

email list for you guys because then you

come back and you see my content and

then it's basically with friends we hang

out a lot of you guys email me we check

our Facebook group we talk with chat so

it's just a big community that's really

what it is in this case that's what I

use my email list for so this is what

I'm gonna do I'm gonna go into my blog

my online Dan's gonna show you a plugin

that I use this is the plug-in here

there'll be a link in the description

it's called thrive leads this is one

I've been using for a long time it works

very very well they're always updated

and always bring in to new things they

have great support so check out the link

called thrive themes but just go to the

thrive leads and thing section of the

page so this is my blog here and if you

don't know what just go through a bit of

a quick look here I have an email

collection thing on the side here now

this doesn't convert very well at all I

think it's like 1% or something so I

don't really mess with that too much I

think mainly because a lot of my traffic

from mobile so this gets pushed to the

bottom and but if we go to some of my

blog post here hopefully so this one

pops down I get a very good conversion

rate of this one about 4 percent so 4

percent of my traffic that comes to my

site um will sign up to my list and so

if I get a thousand a day that

that's like what forty people is it yeah

four I think so I thought very good at

my math right now so I'm four percent

converts just on this and my our blog

gets around about 1,500 to 2,000 visit

today so it's quite a little traffic and

I haven't touched it for about like six

months I haven't that issue or anything

this is all natural organic traffic if

we go down here I have these little

things here it pops up

I clicked emails that way as well that's

that's another lead generation magnet I

give away our free training course and

that's it for this if I exit so I tried

in a new browser real quick we'll see if

we can get the the lightbox to pop up

there's also one I use it's a lightbox

and damn I'll show you an example of

that no it's not going to pop up because

I haven't cleared my arm caches so what

outdoors I'll show you actually in

thrive leads so yeah these are called

lead generators like this is the lead

generation magnet the one here the one

that popped down I give away something

for free to get people onto my email

list right and it's always very good

value and you can see like I get a lot

of traffic all these these are some of

my posts will be in tons of comments if

you're looking here I've got 100 there

100 comments but I have to go through

there's probably two weeks with the

comments so this is the back end of

thrive leads and just today it's about 8

o'clock we already have 500 unique

visitors and we already have 30 Civic

conversions and overall right now on the

blog we're converting at a 7 point 17

percent conversion rate and that's

actually very good because I haven't

optimized at all I could I could

optimize my stuff a lot better I've kind

of generally done it but I haven't

really done much split testing and stuff

I just haven't had time so I'm going to

try and get this over a 10 percent at

some stage but this is generally on my

site today 9 o'clock in the morning

we've already collected 37 leads and

we're converting at a 7 percent

conversion rate so the good thing abut

so first off I'll just start with the

lead groups so these are sections that

you can put on specific pages and first

of the lightbox which I'll show you

what there is because what it didn't pop

up for us and the thing here light box

this is the light box that pops up on

the page and people try to leave you've

probably seen it and you can do it too

step action so whatever they click on

and they might go to this so if he if

they click on yes they will go to this

if they click on no that nothing will

happen so that's what our light boxes

and the thing is and the light box has a

very low conversion rate right now

because what happened is I used to have

the the light box on both desktop and

mobile

but Google changed their rules so you

can't have pop-ups on mobile anymore so

what I've done to combat that issue is

I've actually used ribbons on the mobile

now so this is a ribbon we will do this

one as well I want to run through

quickly so you understand what all this

is before we actually have get into a

bit of a tutorial here so this is the

ribbon here pops up at the top of the

page on mobile mobile only I don't have

to other pop-ups because we can sit it

here so we can sit so everything's on

desktop apart from the ribbon the ribbon

pops up on mobile only I don't have the

scroll met on mobile and I don't have

the lightbox on mobile the scrubmites

one that came down from the top and then

we have the widget which is the one on

the side so and what I can do is I can

actually sit what pages I want to have

them on so this one here is on my entire

blog pretty much everywhere and this one

here is only on my is only on the pages

that might make money online pages like

how to make money on only got around to

post so I'm having how to make money

online the Shopify method and how to

make money on Facebook and I'm getting a

very good conversion rate I'm doing 4.5%

on the drop-down one I'm getting 2.6

percent on the lightbox which pops up

and I'm getting 1.8% on the ribbon so

what I'll do now is I'll just show you

and this one I haven't really miss with

you so I'm gonna go I'm add a new form

type and I'll show you the type of forms

you can do so you can do one that's in

content and what that does is you can

hide something in the content and people

to opt-in to unlock it so it could be a

paragraph it could be an image it could

be a video something like that so let's

say you do a blog post about something

and you put in a video and you can be

like unlock this video by putting your

email address right so that's what that

is

the lightbox is one that pops up I have

that sit - when people try to leave my

page footer post footer is at the bottom

of the page you can have something there

if you like ribbon we've talked about

that that's the one at the top screen

fall out that basically covers the

entire screen so it's like a lightbox

but it covers the entire screen I don't

really like that the scroll met is one

that comes down slide in there's a

little box that slides in at the bottom

of the page and then we have the widget

which is the side and then we have our

PHP insert where you can do your own

custom ones as well which I don't really

miss with so yeah that's um that's

really um how how cool it is so what I'm

gonna do is I'm going to say I'm sorry

these these shortcodes

these are the these are these things

here so what I do is I create a

shortcode lead shortcode and then I put

the shortcode into the blog post and

this will pop up I can put it wherever I

want and as you can see my conversion

rates are pretty good I mean one point

six percent one point six percent as

could be considered low but you imagine

if you have lots of those on your pages

it's really starts to add up you know

this is um eighty people forty people my

listed I didn't have on my list before

so that's very powerful stuff

so what I'm gonna do and you can see

I've got five percent here I've got a

twenty three percent here I don't think

I do that won't anymore I've got a two

percent i've got a sixty eight percent

here so what I'm gonna do is we're going

to choose a page here from my blog I

don't know what I'm gonna have to do

here I'll just quickly choose one we'll

go he's sold over 100k Shopify in six

days I'm gonna choose this right and

we're going to deactivate will

deactivate this one on this or doesn't

show up I'm going to go post post

yeah so just gonna deactivate that so

doesn't show up on that one so a few if

you don't want to be confusing stuff

just do like one lead group and just do

it for your entire site if you're just

new to this and you want to either come

out with basic stuff this is a this is

Clem optimizing I'm trying to optimize

and get more leads and stuff so what I'm

gonna do is I'm going to create a new

lead group and I'm gonna call it test

and what I'm gonna do now is I'm going

to we're gonna add a form and what I'll

do is I'll do these scroll met because

that should come up with us come up for

us I usually have quite a bit of

problems with the lead lightbox because

of all the cookies and stuff but the

scroll that usually comes up all the

time so when you go scroll Matt and what

I'm gonna do is I'm going to turn it on

for just display on desktop only I have

to actually add one first we're gonna do

tests so you can use any type of plugin

as long as you are getting some sort of

light box or something popping up on

your site or anything just to collect

our leads and these these ones here I

see a lot of sites have those but they

don't convert very well they're not very

good at all anymore they used to be fine

but they're not very good you need more

stuff light boxes pop-ups and people

will hate them they will be annoying to

some people but if you're not building a

list or a customer base or an email

allistic sent emails out to how like

you're not gonna build a community

alright you're not gonna build a

community you're just gonna have people

coming to your blog that they don't care

about like newsflash people don't care

about your content unless you are

creating great content and you were

consistently creating creating great

content to the same people just like on

YouTube you have subscribers it's

exactly the same for your blog you need

to have subscribers to your blog so

we're gonna create a strong net I just

created a forum and there's tons of

templates here we're gonna go through

these are the scroll net templates that

come down there's also the thrive lead

cloud where there's a custom one here

wow there's multi-step templates so

these are the ones that one of my deals

I might do a multi-state actually so we

can get it a little bit more technical

so I'm gonna choose this multi-step one

here and we're gonna choose template

and everything you can edit just on the

fly so I'm gonna go get more

gonna make it you've got a bit better

than that but you can change all the

text color if you like by going to here

you like there was really tons of stuff

you can do but I don't want to drag on

the video you can add credit card things

down here if you if it's a purchase you

can use an image if you like our sozin's

change the web stays

you can use an image if you like you can

use an icon all sorts of good stuff now

that is where things get cool so this is

called a two-step what this means is

when the person clicks on it and they

come to this page they're kind of more

likely to that it's like micro steps so

they've clicked on the they've clicked

on the get videos now now they're at

this this stage and I'll show you how to

sit this up in a minute now they're at

this stage there's two things that are

gonna happen the people that really

uninteresting to leave and the people

that are interested are going to sign up

but because they've already made that

micro transition there they've gone from

the first place to the second one you

you're basically weeding out the people

that kind of a really interesting giving

this free stuff or interesting you and

the ones that aren't the the ones that

are just going to leave so it gives you

more quality leads it gives you more

quality people in your community so I

like to use this to snip stuff so you

can change all this and then what you

want to do is go down to here you want

to go connect with service and then

you're going to go create a new

connection and what its gonna do I use

get response it's going to ask you if

you haven't seen it up before it's going

to ask you for the get response API

or what I do is I get a get response and

go to options integrations I think just

copy the API code it'll ask you for it

if you haven't set it up and then you're

all good to go so I've set it up and I'm

gonna go go next and all I need to do is

go to get response and pick my list I've

only loaded up to list in here so I'll

on domes blog and then I'm gonna go save

and then what I can do is I can display

the name I don't do that I just want to

get the I don't want to display phone

number I just want to do the email and

then you can reload them on the current

page or you can redirect them to a URL

you can display a message without reload

you can redirect to another page or you

can switch state which is not going into

that quite technical but all I do is

just redirect to a URL or a page and I

redirect them to another page on my site

which is a thank-you page and I might

have other stuff in there that I can get

for free or follow me on social media I

think I do so that's how you do that and

they just put the URL in here it's going

to go load current page and click Save

all right so we've reloaded and we have

now we've now ready to go the next day

so we've reloaded we have our email

stuff set up that didn't actually save

that shouldn't that your name shouldn't

be there but I had to refresh the page

there for a second the internet lagged

out but that should just say email

address and then when they sign up it

should take them to redirect to your

page now if we go back to the default

state what we're going to do is click on

here and we're going to go event manager

and we're going to go it's already there

so click switch state and what it's

going to do we'll go to edit click

switch state and we're gonna put it on

state 1 save you vent if it doesn't have

this you just can you just add the event

so what we want to do is you want to

have it on a trigger so when someone

clicks on the button it switches the

state and it goes to state one and state

one as as this here so why don't we go

as long as save this now and we are

going to go to back to lead thrive leads

and now we have our scroll met

and we need to sit a page so we're gonna

get this to load on the how he I think

cleared the cache well there's the

pop-up so it hasn't cleared the cache

ooh so I'm gonna clear it again and

we'll get this to pop up alright so I

just had to clear my cache again I was a

bit delayed but jump on here now it

should shot for us alright so there we

go we've just quickly created a lead

generation put in your name and then

when they sign up

it'll get directed to either one of your

pages and they can click on the arrow to

get rid of it so that's how easy it was

I'm not going to go through them all

because there are a lot of them and they

and they do different things what I'm

gonna do is I'm just going to just

exclude the pay I give it up the

excluded page before I forget because

I'm going to forget if I don't for some

reason the exclusions they are they are

they're here right so you see how it

um calm and you'll see and I've been

collecting leads I click leads every

single day and I use them to build a

list and send out updates for what we've

been doing and stuff like that and

usually there's not that sort of good

stuff

see this is thrive leads I'll check it

out you know the probably the best ones

I would say to use would be the lightbox

okay that's the pop-up that's the

lightbox is very good these scroll Mets

get me the best conversion rate so the

scroll Mets do very very well as you can

see from down here four point five to

scroll Mets do very well light boxes and

the next one they do very well and in

the ribbon on the mobile phone that's

quite well as well and if you put

so if you put these shortcodes and stuff

that is actually I probably should put

one in here yeah I got one in here you

put the shortcodes and the stuff that

actually related to what you're talking

about

so if you have a blog post about how to

become a better mother or how to catch

fish you want to give away something for

free like for how to be a better mother

or whatever something like that or how

to be a better parent or whatever you're

gonna do you put a free well you know

what you can do is you can actually get

an epic a chrome extension which will

turn your post into a PDF and you can

give away that post in a PDF for free or

you can create some sort of little ebook

and mini ebook to give away for free

and put that throughout your blog you

can pay someone on up work to do that

for you so if you have a blog and you

are wanting to know how to create more

customers create an email list get your

your visitors to come back to your site

create a community whatever you want to

do right make sure you were collecting

email leads don't worry about what

anybody says don't worry about what

haters say people are gonna say oh you

shouldn't have this on your site it's

annoying it's pissing me off

don't worry about it because it works

this is what people are doing this is

what everyone's been doing for years and

it works and if you want to get ahead

and creating a blog if you want to get

ahead and getting more traffic to your

blog maximizing anything on your blog

you want to be a successful blogger you

have to have a way to create a community

and this is a great way to do it and

also just while we're here on blog tips

make sure you're apply to all your

comments as well so that's it for this I

show you how this works I wanted to give

you some advice on growing your blog's

you're not doing this already the the

0.59 percent it's not very good out of

39,000 people that have visited my store

I'm only getting 232 so I can maybe

optimize it I don't really know but I

don't weird it's a kind of a waste of

time if you can put something else in

this section that benefits you more than

this an opt-in form it may be maybe some

social buttons or something called media

maybe so

a product or something they put it in

there but awesome or even if you're

selling advertising space and you make

more money from that put it in there but

widgets are not high converting anymore

they used to be but the more people they

use mobile phones the harder it is

because the widgets don't sharpen like

if I made this smaller the Widgit

wouldn't show up until the bottom of

things

see so it goes to the bottom so that's

it I just wanted to give you some give

you some advice on that make sure you

check out the quiz if you want just to

give me some more information of what

you want to see the feat that the plug

and I used is called thrive leads it

does look very scary a little bit

technical but it's not it's actually

very very easy to use once you get the

hang of it just make sure you purge your

cash free every time and make sure when

you do a lead group are you don't have

you exclude if you have multiple lead

groups the different pages

make sure you exclude that page that

you're working on so for example all the

ones in this bottom one I had to exclude

those pages at the top on oil it's

basically just gonna keep running at the

top one the first one and you'll be and

you'll be in support going what's

happening what's going on and you'll be

wasting your time and their time and and

to figure it out but just make sure you

exclude whatever pages you don't want to

show on this one but you want to show on

your the second one you're going to

fourth one or your fifth one and you

know just these are the types of leads

you can do you know most other lead

plug-ins don't do much this does are

quite a lot so yeah that's how you can

create Lee generate more traffic from
