hey what is up this is Tyler Pratt and
in this video I want to talk to you
about the one tool that you need in your
marketing business it's a must-have and
it's one thing you have to have if you
you're looking to generate income and
look at to build your business you're
looking to expand your business 10x your
business whatever you want to do there's
one thing that that if somebody came to
me and said ok we're going to take
everything away from you we're going to
leave you with one thing or if the house
was burning down you had to grab one
thing what would it be and that one
thing would be an autoresponder or my
list okay that's going to be the one
thing that that I would have instantly
so if you took everything away from me
the first thing I would do is get an
autoresponder and I would start building
a list because the list is going to help
you connect with your audience on a
daily basis people say well email might
be going down all is dead and I disagree
with it I don't think email is dead I
just think that what's what's really
dead is people's ability to have good
copywriting have good marketing messages
okay what's dead is people that are just
sending out promotion promotion
promotion with their lists and people
are just unsubscribing on subscriber
depths with dead okay back maybe 10
years ago that work you could just
promote all the time but now you need to
connect with your audience and you need
to be able to get your marketing message
out there that's the one tool you must
have now you can use Aweber I like to
use Aweber I've used them for years I
like to use active campaign which is a
really good service it's a very low
entry service and it allows you to do a
lot more than what a weber would do okay
so active campaign there's another one
called get response which is similar to
a weber you can use that they're pretty
much identical in services there's also
Infusionsoft which is going to be
probably one of the higher-end programs
it's probably going to be the one of the
one of the most that when you use it
you're able to do the most with your
list but if you just get if you just
start now with your business I wouldn't
recommend if you this off it's very
expensive and it's very technology
minded you really have to get in there
and understand how to use it
there's also MailChimp is another good
one another good one would be click
funnels not it you might think we'll
quick funnels is more of a you know
funnel type thing but what they have is
is a program called action medics and
it's basically what it is it's an
autoresponder series that they have set
up but they use third-party SMT servers
okay now I don't want to get too
technical with you but with Aweber they
control the servers and they mail it out
with clickfunnels you connect your
clickfunnels with a third party system
like Amazon Mail service so clickfunnels
connects with Amazon click funnels
handle all of the CRM the customer
relations you know the customer data on
that but then when you actually send you
send it through Amazon
SMS and I know that probably went over
your head and that's okay because you
know if you're in business for yourself
these are the things that you really
have to start to understand okay you
have to start to get these things if
you're thinking well this is this
technology too much for me and it's
crazy well then you're not in business
okay if you're in business for yourself
you got to figure these things out I
don't recommend you outsourcing this
stuff don't go to somebody and say hey
will you handle online marketing for me
don't do that because what's happened is
you're going to rely on too many people
and when things break down you're going
to be trying to find somebody in another
part of the world that's going to help
you with your marketing okay so don't do
that when you build your list you have a
list that you can take with you that
list is yours you can take that from
this autoresponder to this autoresponder
you can move it around if you need to
now the thing about Liz people think
well I have a social media list I have
friends on my my fan page that's not a
list Facebook owns that list so if
Facebook decides that hey they don't
like what you're doing and they shut you
off then that list is gone now if a
weber decides hey we don't really like
what your mailing that's fine you can
take your list and move it over to
another autoresponder but if if an
autoresponder is telling you that they
don't like what you're mailing you got
to really look at what your mailing
because they're there to protect their
infrastructure and their mailing service
for everybody else because if you're
going to be coming in there you're going
to be sending out junk and crap they're
going to kick you out but at least you
still have the list okay if you make the
mistakes and you send out junk and you
realize it and they kick you out that's
fine take your list move to somewhere
else and start to mail good stuff start
to mail out good quality marketing and
good tips and all that good stuff okay
