quick how to set up a landing page if

you heard of landing page maybe you've

heard a squeeze page what why would you

need a landing page will landing pages

it allows you to capture somebody's

email you give away something of value

in exchange for that email and then

you're able to follow up with that

person through email okay it's a very

great way to connect with your potential

customers it's a great way to connect

with your audience and it's a great way

to generate new clients for your

business ok so capturing an email and

allowing that to be followed up with

emails is one of the best ways to market

your services online the I'm going to

show you really the easiest way to do

this there's there's I'm going to I'll

tell you about some other places you go

to click funnels

you go to leadpages.net and those are

going to be services online the only

thing you're going to really need is

you're going to need a lead capture

system and you're going to need an

autoresponder system ok

pretty much going to be the same I like

to use active campaign it's really easy

to get started is really easy to connect

first thing you're going to need them to

set up lead capture page is going to

need a plugin okay the easiest one and

I've used this for years is if you just

go to Google and you type in optimized

press - my - Moz press and you'll see

that the first one comes up is the

optimized press com you're just going to

go here and you're going to get this

plug-in ok it's very easy it's very all

it is a plug-in that you installed to

WordPress now if you don't know

WordPress you probably need to search

google for that but this is going to

help you get started with your WordPress

now inside of WordPress once you install

the plug-in you're going to see a page

over here to the left-hand side

optimized press you go into dashboard

first thing you want to do is connect

your email marketing service to your

optimized press here's Aweber here's

active campaign you're just going to

read the directions here and it will

allow you to connect with Aweber it's

really simple very easy and then what

you can do is when you set up your

landing page it'll pull down the menus

it will pull down the the email services

that you are going to I'm sorry to pull

down the email list that you're going to

use with your optimal with your lead

capture page so the next all you have to

do is just go to create new page on left

hand side and then up here at the top

it's going to be opt in landing page so

here's all kinds of templates that are

that are ready to go you just have to

pick one of these and you can pick any

of these they're all going to work

really well let me just find one that's

that's going to be easy to get up and

running let me just okay let's just do

this one right here this is going to be

this is probably simple ok so simple

landing page right here we're just going

to say use this template I'm going to

call this test template okay I'm going

to click on create the page and then

what will happen is it's going to open

up with this editor and all you have to

do is just edit this page once it opens

up okay so all you have to do is you can

just change the title here so a web

conversion expert see you expert let's

here color Pratt reveals I'm going to

click on now change that okay the the

simple three-step form of ability

marketing sites that convert I'll just

leave like that but here's the key you

want to click on this little edit button

right here to the top of this email

opt-in box and then what will happen is

is you're going to have information and

it's going to pull down your your

autoresponder series or autoresponder

system right here so let's say a web

right here and then what it'll do is

it's going to search for that list so

then you'll have to do is you got to go

down here and just find the list that's

going to work for you and then the Thank

You page is going to be when somebody

opts in where they redirect it to you

got a couple of different options here

number one you could just send them to a

Thank You page is's thank you here's

your download you can set them to a

thank you page with some bonus links and

those links could go off to offers

or you could just redirect this to your

affiliate page okay I recommend that you

send somebody to a blank Thank You page

this just says thank you check your

email and then in the email you direct

that person wherever you want to go if

you're giving away a free pdf if you're

giving away some free videos something

of value have the link inside the first

email that connects okay what it does is

it allows people to open up that first

email because if you give them the

information right away then they're not

going to be they're not going to really

get into their email and you know work

on their email from there okay so all

you do is click on thank-you page and it

goes to the next page this bottom part

right here I'll just edit this out I'm

going to click on take this off footer

so then I'm going to cut so it's

connected and all you have to do is

click on save you click on publish okay

so publish right there you click on save

and close ok so then see here test what

did I call it test template

and there it is that was a

template that I created okay and

somebody put in their name their email

they hit get instant access they're

taken right right into your email

service and then you redirect them to

where we want to go okay you redirected

to affiliate page we redirect to a you

know your thank-you page whatever you

want to do it's up to you but this is

going to be the first step and that's

the simplest way to generate a lead

capture page for your business okay so I

do is optimize press plug it into the

worst press and you're up and running
