then this video I want to talk to you
about three big mistakes that Facebook
businesses used for marketing online on
Facebook so if you're if you're just
maybe don't have business yet but you
want to start using facebook for
marketing you want to start marketing
your product or service whatever you got
there's a few things that I see
constantly all the time that people make
mistakes over and over and over again
okay so the first big mistake is this is
business letters they get on to facebook
and they think that it's just this giant
boar and just giant pin boards that they
could just post their their website link
all over the place like it's in some
giant boiler you just spam away okay
it's called spam and it's not marketing
it's it's I don't know why people were
who's teaching this or who's teaching
people how to just take their link and
throw it out of the where it's just dumb
marketing that's and if you're being
taught that marketing it's dumb okay so
what I want to do is tell you is you
can't just take your link and just throw
it out of the place you can't just go
into groups and throw it throw your link
every word you're going to get blocked
you're going to get you're going to get
they're just going to block you out of
those groups is going to be useless okay
if you have your your your wall don't be
throwing your link up on your wall all
over the place just people going to be
turned off by they're going to they're
going to close your they're going to
defriend view they're going to just take
your your messages on the wall and
they're going to hide it ok so then
you're never really going to get to see
anybody ok so that's the first big
mistake I see the second one is really
is is going into facebook marketing and
not have a plan I mean what's your plan
we're going in what are you going to use
it for you can use group so you're going
to use our use the fan pages are you
going to use your personal wall on
there's a lot of different areas that
you go into that you have to really kind
of plan ahead to know what you're going
to do facebook groups is a great place
to jump into fan pages used to be great
they're not as great now but they're
still you can still build them up ok
facebook wants you to start using ad but
groups right now are very good your own
personal wall is very good right now
because facebook hasn't really decided
what they're going to do with that yet
so we're
now it's a good time to do that so
businesses that don't jump in without a
plan is really that's one of the big
mistakes I see a lot of times the third
biggest mistakes I see with businesses
when marketing on the Facebook is not
taking the pixel inside the business
manager and put it on their website and
start building an audience you may not
use facebook ads right now but in six
months a year from now you may want to
come back and use facebook ads and all
the traffic that's going to your website
right now Facebook can start creating an
audience from that so all you have to do
is go into the business manager section
creative a quick account grab your pixel
inside of there take that pixel put it
onto your website your WordPress blog
wherever it is and let Facebook's are
build an audience from that traffic so
six months down the road or a year down
the road they will have built an
audience of all that traffic so you can
just go right into that audience start
advertising to that audience and now you
have a built-in customer base ready to
go you don't have to go out and find new
new customers you have a customer base
right there ready to go okay so that's
going to be the three biggest mistakes
we r 1 is don't spam your link all over
the place dumb it's dumb marketing I
don't know who's teaching it and
whoever's teaching it they shouldn't be
teaching anymore the second one is going
in not having a plan you got a plan of
what you're going to do what is it
you're going to do online with Facebook
and third is not taking the pixel and
put it on to your website you've got to
start building out audience you now
using facebook ads right now down the
road you will want to use facebook ads
for your business because it's you know
that you can get in front of two billion
people right now it's crazy okay so
build up your audience and then you'll
be able to target just that specific
audience on facebook all right so there
