video I'm going to show you exactly how

to do affiliate marketing if you're a

beginner where you've made less than

$50,000 from affiliate marketing and if

you stay until the end of this video I'm

gonna show you my business that I

started two months ago and I've

generated over fifteen thousand dollars

in passive income

all right so before we get into the

strategies and the fundamentals of

affiliate marketing I want to show you

some of my results to show you that this

is truly possible okay this is just one

of five recurring affiliate offers that

I promote and as you can see I've made

over $16,000 just from this one offer

alone and this is totally passive income

that I get every single month of getting

you know over 2500 bucks every single

month now and this is something that is

very achievable if you understand the

fundamentals of affiliate marketing okay

so that's what we're gonna dive into

today and if you stay until the end of

this video I'm gonna show you the

business that I've built from zero just

to show you that this is truly possible

I built it from zero and within two

months have generated over $15,000 in

passive income but first I want you to

understand the fundamentals because if

you don't understand these things and

you don't stick to these principles you

will not be successful with affiliate

marketing and this is what a lot of

other affiliate marketers fail to teach

I've taken many programs out there you

know watch many courses and trainings

and most of them you know do not teach

these basic fundamentals and when I

started learning these basic

fundamentals and sticking with them

that's when I started seeing major

success I've had multiple six-figure

students and when analyzing their

results from people who are not

successful the people who are successful

stick to these simple things that I'm

about to show you and I'm gonna give the

analogy of Starbucks okay so the

beginning of affiliate marketing we have

to have a system to promote our offers

and I didn't just say one offer I said

offers like plural because you must have

multiple products that you are offering

and the reason that is is because when

we look at Starbucks okay you know think

about that if you've never been to a

Starbucks then you know this might be

you know kind of a weird metaphor maybe

think of another popular you know

restaurant chain or something that

you've been to but most people in the

United States have been to Starbucks at

least once in their life and

they're on every single corner okay but

the thing is you might not understand

that Starbucks probably doesn't make too

much of a profit or if any on their

actual coffee on their drinks okay I

know sure it costs them 50 cents to make

a cup of coffee and they charge $5 but

still they're not making a profit on

that margin because they have to you

know pay for the you know the land that

they have they're you know they're

building on they have to pay employees

they have to pay benefits they have to

you know keep the lights on in the store

they have to keep the air conditioner on

in all these things they have to have

insurance all these really things that

you don't think about when it comes to

business okay so how does Starbucks make

money then yes they charge a huge margin

on their coffee and they still probably

only break-even on the coffee how do

they make money well they make money

from selling other items okay from up

sells in down sells and that's what we

call it in the affiliate marketing space

or the internet marketing space is an

upsell in a down sell meaning products

that are more expensive or less

expensive but you offer it to someone

who already purchases one product okay

so people usually get a coffee but they

also get a little pastry along with it

or they get a breakfast sandwich or they

get a tea or they get you know it's a go

in package of food right or a bag of

chips or something like that that is

where Starbucks makes their profit okay

and that's what you have to understand

with affiliate marketing you have to go

you know promote an offer that's amazing

just like Starbucks right Starbucks has

a great product they have great customer

support they have a good track record

people you know hundreds of millions of

people go to Starbucks every single day

right so that's another thing you want

to make sure that the offer you're

promoting has a good track record they

have good customer support they have a

brand that you can leverage right and

number two make sure that they have

multiple offers meaning you have the

opportunity to make money not just once

but multiple times okay because that's

essential with affiliate marketing you

will lose in affiliate marketing if

you're promoting one

offers like up one product on Amazon or

one product on Clickbank you must

promote recurring affiliate offers

meaning you're getting basically you're

getting paid for that customer okay so

if you let's just say someone goes into

Starbucks let's just say you you brought

that them in as an affiliate let's just

pretend they had an affiliate program

right you're not just gonna make in a

commission from that person buying that

first coffee you're gonna make a

commission every time that person walks

into Starbucks and purchases an item

that's the type of Philly offers that

you want to promote and you want to make

sure that you have a whole spectrum of

different offers that you can promote

because it's going to cost you to get

that customer all right I know it's kind

of a hard thing to deal with a lot of

people are afraid to get into affiliate

marketing they're afraid to you know pay

for traffic but when you are building a

business eventually you're going to have

to pay for traffic to come to your

business okay Starbucks for instance

okay let's just switch to the next slide

Starbucks they're on every corner and

they own those buildings I'm pretty sure

most of them own the building so it's

like a real estate company as well

that's prime real estate right there do

you think they don't pay a premium to

have a corner spot where everyone you'll

see all these people kind of gathering

around because it's a corner it's a

street corner a popular street corner

well it's the same thing with your

business you can go get free traffic on

YouTube on Instagram on Facebook and

other methods Twitter

I don't know snapchat right you can go

get free traffic that's gonna take time

but with affiliate marketing the goal is

to create passive income to where you

aren't trading your time for dollars

meaning you're not you know filming

these videos all the time you're not

like on social media 24/7 trying to sell

your affiliate offer okay the goal is to

automate the traffic process and in

order to do that you have to invest into

your advertising you have to invest into

your business if you don't have money to

start with affiliate marketing that's

fine you can go get free traffic get

some sales but you must reinvest that

money back in your business because if

you choose not to I

honest that you will not have results

long-term in affiliate marketing this is

something that I dealt with my business

I've made you know well over seven

figures but my big yet whole beginning

of my career I wasn't investing

reinvesting enough back into advertising

okay and the the process of you know

trying to build an email list now takes

a very very long time okay so that's one

thing that I'm doing is just reinvesting

90% of the profits back into the Machine

growing that machine so that eventually

the machine will be producing so much

income just like Starbucks right they

already have such a large customer base

that they don't have to pay as much for

new traffic or new stores they don't

have to go and out and build new stores

they already have as many stores as they

need all they need to do is just get

more customers into those stores right

so that's what we want to think about

with traffic okay so have a system and

multiple offers right and then worry

about traffic okay worry about how am I

gonna get the traffic you know where am

I gonna get it and how much am I willing

to spend for that traffic because if you

don't understand those two fundamentals

affiliate marketing is gonna be very

hard but it could be also be very easy

and rewarding if you know those

fundamentals okay and the last

fundamental is follow up in retention so

right Starbucks for instance they

already have a great system they have a

good store on the corner they have tons

of traffic walking by right they're

paying for that store but they have tons

of traffic tons of people coming in and

you know paying for coffee and then

buying pastries buying breakfast

sandwiches and buying all the upsells

and down cells so they're in profit

right they have a great system they have

multiple offers not just one and it's

recurring they also have a good source

of traffic but how do they follow up

right in affiliate marketing this is

essential you must have an email

autoresponder you must have an email

list to followup with and be building

that email list or else you know people

not button might not buy from you

because look the first time I went into

Starbucks was with my parents maybe the

same for you or maybe you went with a

friend right did I buy the coffee no I

didn't my parents do

but I had to would I go in by myself the

next day after that no probably not

because you know I number one it's like

I didn't have money at the time and

number two I didn't really know

Starbucks that well I wasn't really a

coffee drinker but because I went in

multiple times right because my parents

were going in multiple times that's what

got me to get hooked on Starbucks coffee

okay and it's the same thing with your

affiliate business you have to show your

face and you know give value to your

potential customers multiple times and

how do you do that you do that through

an email sequence okay so just like

Starbucks they have an app now they can

follow up with their customers by

sending out notifications hey come in to

Starbucks today at 3 p.m. and you get a

free drink right they do that all the

time and it's the same thing with email

marketing okay follow up with your

potential customers hey I see you didn't

purchase this is offer is gonna close

down in 24 hours or hey I see you didn't

purchase here's a bonus if you didn't

and if you get it today you can you know

unlock that bonus right so you can get

really creative with your email

auto-responder in your email list now

you're probably thinking Ryan okay I get

these fundamentals and you know I thank

you for being patient with me but I need

to kind of lay this out for you because

if you don't understand this you're not

gonna be successful and I want you to be

successful so now that you understand

the fundamentals let's go ahead and get

into the technicals I'm gonna reveal my

business for you and show you that it's

all a numbers game when it comes to you

know when you have a good system you

have traffic and you have emails going

out every single day to potential

customers it's all a numbers game okay

so this is one of my businesses just one

passive income stream it's not showing

all of the profits here because I do

have PayPal connected and it

unfortunately it's not showing the

PayPal side of things but this is just a

good example okay 8,000 bucks

I started this two months ago as you can

see I'm a little under two months ago

and we've generated between all the

profits on the funnel and you know the

affiliate offers we've generated a

little

fifteen thousand dollars so that's over

seventy you notice what seven thousand a

month okay it's over seven thousand a

month and the reason I'm able to just

keep scaling this business is because I

understand my numbers right earnings per

click meaning for every person that

clicks onto my website I earn about a

dollar and twelve cents okay so I can

spend up to a dollar and twelve cents to

acquire a customer to get someone to

click on my website right so that's

important to understand because

Starbucks knows their margins they know

how much they make and how much it costs

to get a customer in the door right it

might not be as technical as this or as

fine-tuned is this because right this is

an online business so it's a little bit

easier to figure out the numbers as

opposed to a Starbucks might be a little

harder right but you know with this I'm

able to see okay my average cart value

is 46 dollars right but I'm making money

on the backend of this business from

through affiliate links through my email

list so everything on the back end is

pure profit right so I could spend 46

dollars because that's my average cart

value meaning someone that purchases

from me spends around 46 dollars I can

spend that all of that money a hundred

percent of that back into advertising

Facebook Ads to acquire a customer I can

spend up to forty six dollars to acquire

customer and still be profitable because

everything I'm making through my email

autoresponder through all my affiliate

links I'm making a hundred percent

profit okay so this is how I scale a

business I figure out what's my average

cart value I figure out okay what are my

earnings per click this is how much I

can spend per click this is how much I

could spend per customer okay on

advertising and then I scale from there

as you can see my opt-in rate alone is

fifty four percent so for every one for

every two people that lands on my page

about one of them ends up opting in and

giving me an email so that's a potential

customer right there right about seven

percent of those people okay seven

percent of the people that actually give

me their email purchase

something from me so that's a pretty big

number a normal affiliate marketing like

through a normal affiliate marketing

network you're gonna you know you're

gonna get you know some ones are

purchased from you at a two to three

percent rate okay so about like two to

three people two to three percent of

people who actually give you an email

will purchase from you so this is double

that and the reason that is is because

this is a valuable funnel that I have

this is a valuable done-for-you business

that I actually have in the first link

also I have you know this you know this

thing that I'm doing right here has so

many levels to it right because look

seven percent of people purchase from me

and then out of those seven percent 25

percent of people purchase the upsell

okay and that is where you know that is

where you make the bulk of your money

because think about it like Starbucks

right Starbucks they break even on the

coffee I'm break even I'm break evening

is that even a word I don't even know

but I'm breaking even sorry I'm breaking

even right here on the break-even sales

page when someone purchases that first

item but I have additional upsells and

down cells because that's you know

additional value that I add to this

funnel its additional offers right just

like offering a pastry or a breakfast

sandwich or a tea or something like that

or a coffee for your friend right so

this is why I put additional upsells and

down cells in here to offer additional

value okay and that's how to build a

real affiliate marketing business now

now that you have the knowledge okay you

have the the fundamentals down that's 95

percent of everything now you can go

learn the technicals which is the easy

part the technicals building sales

funnels that kind of stuff I can teach

you all of that in my done-for-you

process you know having traffic and

following up that's it once you get that

down it's all a numbers game as you can
