DOES CONTENT MARKETING WORK? [CASE STUDY] #Best Education Page #Online Earning

in this video I didn't be revisiting an

article that I wrote back in October it

was the article that I put together in

this video do you remember

they said did some research on Google

found some questions that people were

typing in and put the article together

by answering those questions I'm gonna

be sharing with you all the figures

around the article including how much

traffic it gets how well it's ranking on

Google whether it's got any page one

rank one positions all that stuff and

basically answering the age-old question

does content marketing really work

that's fine

gonna be talking about today is this one

as I say I created it in that video back

in October was the end of October

actually and I put the article together

by doing some research on Google I

discovered some questions all around

Fuli roof boxes and you'll see what

those questions are if you take a look

at the article by the way there's a link

to it in the description of this video

each one of the headings within the

article is one of those questions and

basically they're the questions that I'm

trying to rank for in Google and get

some traffic for the article is 3700

words long so it's you know quite a long

one and it was written for me by a

company called BK a Content who I

recommend and if you're thinking of

start by talking about the search engine

rankings of that article that's the bit

that's really interesting that's what I

was going for

I'll trying to get rankings for each one

of those questions so well let me put

them up on the screen now so you can see

how what it's doing by the way I did all

these searches using a VPN so that I

appeared to be in the States and I'm

also using a incognito window within

Chrome so that it's not personalised or

anything like that so it's a pretty

accurate representation of how the

search engine results actually look so

the article is page 1 for the question

what is a Thule box it's also ranking on

page 1 for our thule boxes waterproof

and it's also on page 1 for how a Thule

cargo box is made so I'm really pleased

with that and I'm sure those rankings

will improve give it a bit more time in

terms of ranking at the top of Google

there's a couple of questions that it's

doing that for let's take a look

so it's ranked number one for how much

can a Thule roof box hold it's also

ranking number one for the question what

is the largest fully roof booked so

that's fantastic

so after four months I'm really pleased

with that I mean it's not ranking for

every single question that I answered in

the article but it's you know it's

ranking for the majority of them and I'm

sure given a bit more time at those

other questions we'll start to work as

well

I should point out that I've not done

any link building to that article in

particular I mean I've done a bit of

link building to the site and of course

you can find out all about that within

the best roof box playlist I'll put a

link up now that place contains all of

the video updates around the site

including my link building all the

content I've produced all the other

changes that I've done to the site and

of course how much money the site's

earning and how much traffic the site is

getting in general so be sure to check

that playlist out so it's all very well

ranking well on Google but it is the

article actually bringing in any traffic

to the site well let's have a look at

Google Analytics and find out so since

the article was published it's had 992

page views and 579 entrances and as I

said you got to keep in mind that

actually the biggest chunk of that

traffic has come over the last 30 days

so it's only recently started to rank

really well which only recently started

to bring in some good numbers in terms

of traffic let's look at the last 30

days in a bit more detail and we can see

that we've had 300 views at last 30 days

so that's nearly a third of the total

traffic since it was published and

another trend of views two hundred and

thirty one of them were entrances to the

site so people actually came into the

site via that article probably from the

search engines if we compare those

numbers to the previous 30 days to get

an idea of how quickly the traffic is

growing we can see that it's up a

fantastic 53 percent so all the growth

has happened really recently and for

hopefully if that continues it's really

going to start to fly over the next few

months so looking at that that really

does show that patience is really

important when it comes to content

marketing your articles are going to

take a bit of time in order to rank and

to bring traffic into your site and I

think patience is a virtue in general

when it comes to affiliate marketing and

content marketing you've just got to be

I think a lot of people expect results

really quickly and that's just simply

not the case

you've got to give these things quite a

bit of time so there we go in terms of

our tool I think it's doing really well

I'm really pleased with it and of course

I'll do another update in a few months

and let you know exactly how well it's

doing so there's content marketing work

of course it does if you produce some

good content answering the questions and

the searches that people are making on

Google then there's no reason why your

site won't write well and start to you

know do really well in terms of traffic

you just got to create good content

based around people's needs before I go

let me give you one other quick example

this one came out of nowhere so on my

site I've got a number of car guides

basically you know the best roof box for

a whatever you know bmw m3 a Volkswagen

Golf it's a really easy way for me to

create content the content is quite

similar but yes all specifically written

for certain makes and models of cars and

I produced one article a while back it's

this one here and it's around the Subaru

Outback which isn't even a car that I'm

familiar with I don't think we have

Subaru Outback over here in the UK but

what I'll do to research for these

articles basically I did a search on

google for the most popular cars in the

US and I found a list of cars that you

know are top sellers over there and

Subaru Outback was one of them so I

created an article around it now this

article is flying it's bringing in loads

of traffic to the site let me just put

the figures up now since I published

that article it's had a fantastic two

thousand eight hundred views two

thousand two hundred sixty one of them

were entrances to the site and if we

look at the last 30 days it's has 633 so

that's up twenty percent on the previous

thirty days so that articles doing

really well it's generating lots of

traffic for my site did I know that was

going to happen was it planned in any

way no it's a bit of a free grilling and

that kind of happens when it comes to

article marketing you create lots of

articles you put them on your site and

out of nowhere one more completely you

know surprise you and do really well and

it's kind of hard to predict that

because it's based on a lot of things

also you having people are searching and

competition and

and all those kind of things which can

be difficult to gauge before you

actually create the article and publish

it so you know what can we draw from

that

well basically create lots of content as

much as you possibly can covering as

many different subjects within your

niche as you can where I go I'll just

share a couple more article stats with

you that are pretty impressive

I've got this article which is all

around how to fit a roof books to your

car if we look at the analytics for that

one it's at 435 views over the last 30

days which is up 54 percent on the

previous Thursday so that one's growing

really quickly and also this one which

is quite a recent article it's all about

how to reduce the noise generated by

your roof books that one's had 229 views

I've lost her today's and again that one

is up 50% on its previous 30 days so

it's growing quickly as well quite a

niche subject so you know I'm really

pleased the amount of views that one it

is generating that brings the end of
