videos so let's get to the content how
can you add more content to your niche
site I talk all the time about content
and adding more content to your site I
added I think it was like 8,000 words to
a 2,000 word post and the rankings went
up I often reference project a white hat
and I talked about having about seven or
eight thousand words to a twenty five
hundred word post now that post was
already ranking number one it was
getting you know over a thousand
visitors per day to that specific page
and we added a bunch of content and the
traffic went up by about 40 percent and
the revenue also went up by about 40
percent so obviously there's some value
in having content now I think our
rankings probably went up for a bunch of
longtail terms that we weren't even
tracking we're already ranking number
one for the big term that we were going
for
but the thing is we started getting a
bunch of traffic for all these long
tails that we didn't even know we were
ranking for we didn't even care cuz
we've you know the page was ranked
number one so we knew where we're
getting plenty of traffic thing is when
we added more content
it just helped things and we also
continue to get the right kind of buyers
traffic so that was great now things
people ask all the time how can I add
more content I already have a thousand
words it seems boring I don't know how I
can add more and here you are done
telling me to add like 8,000 more words
to something that already seems long
enough so you know let me tell you a
couple ways that you can actually add
content to your existing content and
just make it longer we're talking
extending the word count here so number
one way is to add more products to your
product review sections so I'm assuming
you have an affiliate piece of content
there's product reviews on there there's
several products mentioned so what you
can do is just
add more of those so if you have five
products mentioned then add ten more and
for each one of those you can you know
add three to 500 words of a mini-review
summarizing the pros and cons of that
specific item so just right off the bat
if you add ten more products in each
each one has like 500 words that's of
course five thousand words so that makes
a huge difference now if you already
have quite a few products you can simply
just add more word count to each one of
your products that you have mentioned so
that's another route and the third way
that I'll mention is to simply beef up
your user guides so or your buying guide
depending on what you have on that page
but if you go check out the research
paper method rpm you'll see that if you
go and consolidate if you actually go
and do a couple hours of research on the
topic usually you can improve your
buyers guide quite a bit by being very
thorough about what you're covering and
that buyer's guide and you know without
breaking a sweat
you'd go do a little research and then
you create an outline and then you can
have a much longer buyer's guide maybe
add you know two to four thousand words
depending on how lengthy it was before
and then if you put that together with
adding more products or having more
content to your product reviews all of a
sudden when you're looking at 10,000
words or more it's not that difficult to
do
