want to talk to you about email
know over the years people have been
saying that email marketing is kind of
been on a decline and really appealed in
saying that since you know like the year
2000 when email marketing started to get
marketable with marketers okay so new
marketing is definitely going to be here
for forever as long as people use email
to register for social media account so
you think about it you know you register
for Facebook Twitter all that it's used
emails but the thing about with your
list right you talked we talked about
building a list right you got a list
that you control now you think about
Facebook you have a list of friends and
family that are on your list you have
Twitter followers you the Instagram
followers you have
you know snapchat followers this is not
a list because you don't control that
list you don't you're not able to take
that list control and move it and do
what you want with it Facebook and all
of those social medias they control your
list for you so don't think don't get
confused by having friends and and
people like that on your list or
followers that's a list it's not a list
an email list is something that you
control you're able to take it move it
you can move it around to different
providers if you want to but you own
that list and you're able to email send
out valuable information to that list
all the time okay so you got to
understand the difference between that
if you're trying to build a list on
Facebook and let's say Facebook doesn't
like what you're posting and they delete
your account will you're left with
nothing you have nothing no list no
nothing so that's why I'm always telling
people to get people off Facebook on to
your email list so you can follow up
with them and create more value okay but
to do it the right way to make really
good money with your email list how you
going to do that don't make the mistake
I did for a long time I was just
hammering my list over and over again
with different products different
affiliate products new affiliate product
to come out I would mail out hammer try
to just you know try to suck up as much
money as I could from the list and I was
really doing nowhere with it my list was
declining people are unsubscribing they
weren't really get any value from it so
I decided you know what I'm just gonna
start giving value just gonna start
sending videos out start sending videos
out getting more
more value and the cool thing is my list
started to come back we started to get
more open start to get more clicks and
you know my list start to get more
valuable to me um so what I do now is I
create videos and I said send out four
or five videos a week and then a couple
days during the week I'll send out a
promotional offer and usually it's my
product something that create and send
out that's how you're going to make more
money you're not going to be able make
money by just hammering your list every
day and the reason why is you have to
constantly be adding new people to your
list so if you or not if you're not
hooked up to a JV Network that's going
to mail for you then you're not going to
build to build your list if you're not
able to find a source to generate new
leads constantly you're going to be
struggling to try to build a list okay
so if you hammer it if you hand me a
list all the time you're just going to
people unsubscribe it's going to be I'm
just going to be no value to it and
you're not going to be able to do
anything you can get frustrated with it
and you're going to quit email marketing
and that's you know I mean if you get
frustrated and doing it that way then
you really have nobody to blame but
yourself because people just you know
they're not interested in just buying
things over and over and over again
every day okay this is not not the kind
of list that you want you want people on
there that you give them value to that
tight again we're really making the
bigger money that's how you can be
creating more value you're going to be
able to send people to great offers that
that are going to help them rather than
just send in the latest you know JV
promotion or whatever the latest product
that just came out for the day I mean
there's no lack of products that you
could promote every day there's five six
seven new products that are going to be
launching every day so there's there's
no shortage of that but the thing is is
you're going to be a shortage of people
that are going to be on quality list and
if you're not able to keep re you know
energizing your list you're not able to
add more people that come to your list
you're going to be stuck and I guarantee
is that there's really only a small
percentage of people that know how to
build a giant list over and over again
and know how to hammer their list with
products okay it's just you're just not
going to be that good and I promise you
it's going to be you're just going to
struggle and end usually it's so much
more frustrated
and want to quit now I don't want you to
quit I want you to keep going so make
sure you're building your list right
make sure you're getting people off
facebook off twitter off youtube like
this send them to your list have them
opt-in to your form and then give out
valuable information create videos
create new products and send them out
but you got to have you know a really
good book to really understand this is
Gary B's book Jab Jab right hook and it
basically talks about you know you given
value giving given value and then all of
a sudden you can drop in a sales pitch
or sales promotion or whatever you want
to do because if you're given tons of
value and you draw offers a product if
you're going to be more likely likely to
want to buy that product from you
because you they know they're going to
get a lot more value from you with your
emails okay that's how you make a ton of
money with with your videos if you like
