how to earn money on YouTube and if you
are a beginner you're just getting
started online I'm gonna cover
everything you need to know right here
in this video so YouTube is one of the
best places for you to get started and
get started as a beginner so right here
on this video I'm gonna go over
everything you need a couple tools maybe
a couple websites to get everything
running on YouTube Before we jump into
that though there's gonna be a link in

I'll notify you of any video and you
won't miss any of them so let's just
talk a little bit about YouTube YouTube
is the biggest video platform online
everybody's at more people are on
YouTube then on Facebook people are
wanting to you know just stream all
kinds of videos online it's a great
place for a beginner to get online and
start earning some income but the one
thing you get that I want to just kind
of cover with you a little bit here is
this is YouTube the way you make money
with YouTube is obviously a couple
different ways you got ads and then you
got affiliate links and you can do
merchandise and things like that but the
one key principle that people really
miss is the fact that you have to create
content okay you have to create content
to build up a channel so I want to kind
of cover some things in this video to
kind of help you create that content
because once you build that content then
you can do whatever you want it's easy
just to you know sell some t-shirts and
mugs and do some affiliate links and do
some ads and all of that good stuff but
people want to jump into YouTube make
money but they forget yeah I gotta
create some content so I want to kind of
go over that with you right here on
YouTube so first thing if you don't have
a youtube channel just go to gmail.com
sign up there and then you can go to
write to YouTube and you can get started
online now any time that I talk to you
beginners about getting online what I
always recommend you doing is when
you're first getting started is use top
10 list there they're really easy to put
together okay
they're really easy to create and you
can go find tons and tons of content in
order to create these videos so if you
just go to like YouTube and you type in
top ten there's lots of things that come
in top scary there's all kinds of things
that you can do with top ten there's
really not a really limit on top ten
whatever them you can think about things
top ten movies you saw top ten music you
you listen to top ten childhood books
that you read or top ten business books
that you read the amount of stuff that
you could put together in a top ten list
is unlimited but I want to help you out
a little bit because I want to help you
get some content going so I want to just
stress to you where or just kind of go
over some places that you can go but I
do want to stress to you that use the
help use online tools in order to make
this work for you so let's talk about
top ten here's what I do when I'm gonna
create any type of type town I'm going
to go over to website called Cora and
I'm going to type in the top the top ten
don't just type in top ten you got to
put the in front of it for whatever
reason Cora won't just do top ten so
let's see what pops up here so that
here's where I come and get ideas I come
and get ideas and I create my list from
this now I recommend you don't just copy
work for work okay you never want to do
that you always want to just use the
content from Cora to create your own
content and you can use it to get ideas
you don't want to just copy everything
you see so what I do is I just go
through here and you can see top ten
philosophical ideas there's what
distinguishes what are the top ten
things you learn in Cora what are the
top 10 things Americans don't know about
the rest of the world what are the best
10 songs that you listen to the most
that's a good one 10 tap wallpaper and
programs best teen colleges what are the
best films ever what are the top 10
films ever every film lover should see
let's click on that one okay so here's
the list of some videos here these are
all these are old movies nobody's going
to watch those let's see here
let's go down here
here's another list that's kind of kind
of fresh I guess okay so look here's ten
films every film lover should watch what
could your your video that you create on
YouTube be about it could be the top ten
films every you know person that loves
film should watch okay that would be the
title of your video and you can come in
here and you can grab this list right
here and you can create a video out of
this list right here so what I'm going
to do first well you're going to be able
to screen record your you want to screen
record your computer screen you want to
use a program called screencast-o-matic
and then what you want to do is make
sure you get a mic from Amazon you can
pick one up at Amazon for really cheap
this audio-technica ATR 2100 it's a USB
corded dynamic microphone and it's
important that you have good audio when
you're creating these videos because
you're not gonna use a video like I'm
using you're gonna just going to use a
microphone and you're going to be
talking into your computer okay you're
gonna be talking about the top ten films
so you wanna have a good microphone so
pick one of these up they're really good
they're cheap ledge plug right in your
computer you can see the idea there USB
so they plug right into your computer
and then you just turn it on and you
start talking and then you know
screencast-o-matic will ask where you do
you want to use your microphone you want
to use the internal microphone you never
want to use the internal microphone on
your computer the sound isn't is not
very good so grab yourself a mic on
Amazon so the next thing what you want
to do here so we come back to our list
and then you want to just copy this
right here okay so let's just copy this
it's gonna be the first one go over to
Google Docs okay Google Docs is a Google
Drive it's I think it's G suite now but
maybe it's Google Drive but Google gives
away free program called Google slides
it's just like PowerPoint it's just like
anything like that all you have to have
is a Chrome browser and then go to
Google Drive and they'll get you these
slides and it's really good it was free
you don't have to pay for it you know to
buy the software you don't worry about
any of that good stuff so you just go to
Google Drive and
go to Google slides so what you want to
do is just say top ten films for film
levers okay
so that'll be it right there and then
we'll just delete that out and then what
I'm going to do that's gonna be your
title slide so all you're gonna do it
and this is just for beginners this is
the easiest way to do it because what
you're gonna do is you're going to
create slides okay and then you're going
to talk about each of the top ten on
your slides you're just gonna screen
record talk on your mic and then you're
gonna create the video and then you can
upload the video to YouTube right and
then you can have your first video
online and then from there you just
continue to do the same process but
let's continue right here so let's let's
do a new slide so here's the first slide
so here's number one I'm gonna paste
this in here to kill a mockingbirds so
this is let's just say let's just say
this is the number ten we'll do a
countdown from 10 down now what you can
do here is you can actually go over to
will go over to Google and we'll type in
To Kill a Mockingbird we'll go to images
and then from images what you should do
is go to tools and then it says user
rights are here so user rights do
labeled for reuse okay so these are
gonna be labeled for reuse pictures that
means you can take these pictures and
you can reuse them so what I do is just
come in here and then I copy this I copy
copy the image to my clipboard come back
over here and then I paste the image
right there there you go
so I paste it right in here and that's
pretty much it that's my first slide so
then the next one would be let's see dr.
Strangelove so what I would do is just
go to new slide and this would be number
nine so I'm gonna count down from ten to
one that way people will continue to
watch they want to see all the way to
the one to see what the best one is so
then come back over here I'm going to
type
in dr. Strangelove images and then I'm
gonna look for labeled for reuse
okay so rabl for reuse that means you
could reuse these photos so I'm coming
here there's I guess is the picture of
the actual so I'm gonna copy this image
come back over here and then I'm gonna
paste it right here like this boom
there's my next slide okay and then I
just continue to do this every slide all
the way onto one and then what I've done
is I've created the kind of the
structure the framework for the video
that I'm going to create so then what I
do is I have my mic set up I take my
screencast-o-matic which is the screen
screen device what it'll do is it's
going to screen record anything that you
do on your screen so then what you'd
come over your your slides and then you
just click on present okay so click on
screen record and then click on present
and then what it'll do is it'll start to
present on your screen what you also
could do is this is you could just
screencast-o-matic will allow you to
take the frame of this screen right here
okay so this just this screen right here
you can actually shrink what they're
recording on your screen right into this
frame right here so then you just make
sure everything is inside the frame and
it will record only this little part
right here so then you can talk you're
moving your video could be hey this is
the 10 films for film lovers number 10
is gonna be the Kill a Mockingbird and
you talked about to kill a mockingbird
why you like the movie maybe why it's
good way it's not good
maybe gross you know how much money did
it make at the theater and then you go
hey okay so number nine is dr.
Strangelove and talk about the movie and
you talk about maybe what you liked
about or what you didn't like about it
and then you just talk about maybe what
how much does it make or maybe some
actors that are in there just any type
of trivia about that so people are going
to sit there and watch this video and
they're going to say okay that's a good
movie and they're going to be
anticipating the next one the next one
all way down to number one because they
want to see what your number one top
film is and and when you do that people
are watching through that video YouTube
is going to say hey this is a really
good
we're going to suggest this video and
then you're going to get a lot of
traffic for that we're people we're
beginners really make the mistake is
that they they don't understand that
that YouTube is not they're not or how
it's say this YouTube is not showing
your videos when people aren't watching
the whole videos or not watching a good
percentage of the videos so if your
video is like five minutes long and
somebody comes in and watches 10 seconds
and they they leave and then the next
person comes in and watches 10 seconds
and they leave that's YouTube saying
okay something's wrong with this video
people are leaving but if somebody comes
to your video and they watch like you
know 75 70 percent of your video then
YouTube's gonna start to promote your
video a lot more so then you just create
the video from screencast-o-matic and
then you go right to YouTube you upload
it and then you can let it go now if you
want to get creative you can go to a
program called canva or snappa comm and
you can create a thumbnail straight from
the website right there create a
good-looking thumbnail you can use some
of the images from you know Google just
make sure that you have labeled for
reuse so the key here is that you have
to create content consistently on a date
on you know really on a daily basis in
order to get the traction that you want
inside of YouTube people want to make
money in YouTube but they don't want to
really didn't understand what it takes
to put into it and so I'm giving you a
very easy way of getting started now you
might create videos everyday and as your
channel starts to grow you might get
better at these you might these might
get better you might use another program
and you can use ScreenFlow you could use
Camtasia which is another screen screen
recording device but you can get better
and you get you get better at your
presentation you get better to bid iou's
your videos get better at the beginning
they're not gonna be very good okay but
if you just continue and you just do top
10 videos if you do a top 10 video every
day for the next year you're gonna get
so good at creating these that the
videos are going to start to get really
good they're going to start to get
people aren't really gonna start to
watch them and if you really want to
create a business for yourself and you
want to have
online income this is a good way to do
it if you if you're looking to just
create a little bit of hobby and some
side income it's gonna be tough to do it
okay because you're just really you're
competing with a lot of people and you
really have to stand out with with
better videos with more videos and just
allowing your videos to get out there
and start to generate some traction once
your videos start to get going
you could you can add ads into your
channel you're gonna need believe it's
thousand subscribers and four thousand
views but your channel will grow quickly
as you continue to create new videos so
this is a great way for any beginner to
do that so just use kora find some
content don't copy it just use it as you
know good ideas to create your own
content and then you screencast-o-matic
and Google Docs to create videos and
then output it and there you go do that
every day for the next year and you
you'll get so good at creating videos
it'll be so much fun and that you will
start to generate so much traffic and
with all that traffic you'll be able to
create lots and lots of income for
yourself
so there you go that's all you got to do
just put that together for yourself and
you will see success coming in for you
