hey what is up this is Tyler Pratt and
in this video I want to talk to you
about social media marketing how it's
working for you and maybe a few tricks
to help you out with your your social
just like me and for a long time you
didn't even like social media you were
like oh forget it I'm not even going to
work on that it's it's a younger
person's game and I can tell you right
now that it's not in fact Facebook
actually is all the younger people left
Facebook any one of its like Instagram
and snapchat so what that's done it
allows people from 30 and above who who
are in looking for business who are
looking to you you know improve their
business look at these social media it's
a bigger community of people that are
more like-minded and I'm not saying that
the kids and their early twenties
they're not good candidates but mostly
those they're not really into the
entrepreneurial spirit yet they're still
kind of stuck in that school mode
they're stuck in that college mode and
and stuck in that lets get out of the
house parents house and let's go off and
figure out what the heck we're going to
do okay it's when people start getting
into the 30s and they get later on in
life when they start to really catch
that entrepreneurial bug or they say you
not only get in business myself and they
start to figure out what am I going to
do to do that and so people come online
they go to social media they go to the
internet at midnight go to Google or
YouTube and they find videos on what it
is about entrepreneurial the you know
how how is it going to work for me and
the biggest thing is is really
connecting with your audience
finding the audience that's going to
connect with you so if you have a
product or service okay you should be if
you're gonna if you're go into business
for yourself or if you're in business
for yourself you have a main product or
you have a main service that you offer
just think about that if you have a
product that you based physically sell
if you have an information product that
you physically sell or if you have a
service that you sell like whether
you're a an ad specialist or an SEO
specialist or you know you help people
set up a wordpress blog where you set up
plug-ins for WordPress
whatever your service is you need to go
find the audience for that need to go
find the people that are out there that
are going to be interested in your
products or service the first place you
can do that is going to be your Facebook
profile it's your personal profile and
what I recommend you doing is getting
into groups go find
oops that are similar to your your
service your offer
think about where your your customers
would be a lot of them are going to be
in groups they're going to be in groups
that that are geared around your service
okay so go into those groups and the
members of those groups start friending
them so you know don't don't do
craziness but maybe do like 10 or 20 per
hour try to friend those people inside
those groups because those are getting
to the people that are going to be your
customers that those of you want to get
your services in front of okay so that's
going to be the first place to start
that you can go all the way up to 5,000
people I know one of my personal
accounts that I have I went out to tons
and tons of groups and all I do is just
start friend those people inside those
groups because I knew that those people
if they were in those groups they were
going to be my ideal customers they're
going to be my target audience who I was
going to go and try to get you know get
them into my system and try to get them
into my whole funnel to where I can
offer products and my services to them
okay and so I built up my my social
media friends list that way and it's
very targeted very you know very zeroed
in on exactly who I wanted and so all I
had to do is when I post stuff on my
newsfeed I give value I talk about
things that I have and then everyone so
all i post a information about my
product services not often most of time
I give tons of value and the value
content that I create there's usually a
link underneath that so like a lot of
times with this YouTube there's going to
be a link underneath the YouTube video
or if I create a blog post there's going
to be a banner or a link somewhere on
that blog post so what I'm trying to do
is give content first and then allowing
somebody to click on that link and go
get the the offer or services that I
have okay so that's really going to be
your first step into social media
marketing is building up your personal
profile building up your personal
profile so you can post content on your
personal wall I recommend you you you
stay away from trying to promote
yourself I see it all the time on my
newsfeed people that I friend that they
just post these these dumb things you
know just join my team or buy my product
or you know bitcoin right now is is
going crazy you join this program
are going to make a million dollars I
mean people don't respond to that it
just it's scammy it's it's it's just hi
P and and you're only going to maybe you
get two or three clicks but nobody's
actually going to join that crap okay
that's just much junk you need to really
give real value give help people succeed
in what they're doing help people get up
and run in and get them going in their
business and I'll create good value that
people can can learn from and then want
to get some more information from you
okay and then you what you want to do is
if you're a good marketer you're going
to send them up your ladder you get them
in with a small product they buy your
product they like it they move up your
ladder and you offer them bigger
services okay you offer them bigger
coaching packages on the back end but
you have to start with the content and
social media marketing starts with
creating content for people that's all
it is is creating good content content
creating good value for people and
letting them decide whether hey they
want to join your company or they want
to get your products or get your
services let them decide on that don't
push it on to them let them come to you
and let them decide on that best way to
do that is really just get somebody on
your email list right if they consume
your content they go to an opt-in form
they get an email list you can email
them all you all you want and you just
send out more content more information
on sales and products and all that get
them on your list that's going to be
your biggest traffic source that you
