you know what they say about
entrepreneurs we're hustlers we're
fierce like lions bigger than lines like
bears go to sleep never oh yeah
today's gonna be a good one today is
gonna be a good day we're making money
movies money moves oh gosh all right
what is going on everyone welcome back
to another business video today it's
going to be a spicy one I'm gonna share
with you how I actually made $300 in
sales last month doing Shopify
dropshipping WIC which fYI I am NOT a
Shopify expert or guru all right and
it on the screen results because you
know photos can be edited and faked very
easily and that's a no bueno no no no no
no no we ain't about that life I got
inspired to do this because what I've
built my full-time income since 2014 on
the internet by doing email marketing
building an email list then selling to
that email is that like knows and trust
me different products and services and
they're interested in this was something
new for me and after seeing probably my
eighty-ninth YouTube video on
cryptocurrency and Shopify and how
there's literally elementary kids in
grade three making Bank doing Shopify
and people in middle school in high
school
just making an absolute killing I was
like if they can do it these people
okay I can do it too so that's exactly
what I did I started Shopify store back
in December and I forgot to tell you
guys until now and also fYI I do have a
ponytail because I just got out of the
shower it's not like I rock these every
single day because I enjoy them I got
out of the shower my hair was a little
bit wet and I need to throw it up or
else I look a little bit emo and I would
scare the out of you guys so now
let's talk about the strategy behind
this madness that allowed me to create
these results as somebody who's a newbie
because this was incentive marketing
that pretty much was the catalyst of it
all and if you don't know what incentive
marketing is it's pretty much the
equivalent of what you see big brands
and big companies doing with influencers
on Facebook YouTube all social media
platforms I mean I'll throw up a picture
right now this is Casey Neistat and
getting something
from Arby's it's like a jumpsuit a
sweater and joggers they said that to
him absolutely free and they knew that
probably when they sent it to him
because it looks so cool and badass he
wasn't expecting it and that he would
probably show it shout out Arby's and
either his YouTube videos or on his
Twitter and that's exactly what he did
and the company saved money this way
because the higher kc2 shout out their
actual company would probably cost tens
of thousands of dollars all right in
fact it would cost tens of thousands of
dollars so that would be an example of
kind of incentive marketing
incentivizing the influencer to shout
you out another example would be if we
go over to YouTube in the ASMR community
you know those people that whisper like
this alright I was doing a little bit
creepy there but I'll throw up another
example that helps you literally doing
that right there is somebody who got
access to a product absolutely free and
then shared that product and service in
front of her audience of like I think
it's like half a million subscribers
which that audience who trusts her is
gonna go check out that product and
service and maybe possibly buy it and
not only was she given access to it for
free she was also paid a couple thousand
dollars to do that promo that brand
partnership so what I decided to do was
take that down a notch on a lower scale
and what I did was first I went to
Aliexpress I found a product that looked
very similar to this a phone case had a
cryptocurrency logo on it cos
cryptocurrency is super hot in the
marketplace right now and then what I
did which was kind of cool I went over
to Facebook and I found a lot of
Facebook fan pages alright that had tens
of thousands of followers around
cryptocurrency some of them had hundreds
of thousands of followers around
cryptocurrency and I knew that chances
are those people that are following that
Facebook page that is posting around
cryptocurrency related things are
probably gonna be likely to buy this
phone case right and this isn't the
exact phone case that I use but it's
very very similar to it so what I did
was I message the influencers on
Facebook saying my company would like to
sponsor you and send you a free phone
case it has a cryptocurrency branding on
it it's got Bitcoin you know ripple all
these different ones you can choose from
I just need to know you're making
model of your phone and we'll send it
out to you completely free doesn't cost
you a dime and it's on us and then if
you enjoy a product and our service and
you like the phone case and you get the
phone case if you want to do this with
us this little brand deal where we give
you just free products and then you can
kind of use them however you please then
just to show to us out in your next
Facebook post and leave a link back to
our website and guess what happened they
agreed to doing it because they were
getting free products ok and most people
who are influencers on social media
they're not making Bank all right so
this person agreed I sent them out a
phone case that again looked like this
that only cost me two dollars all right
just under the volts under three bucks
to get so it cost me three dollars to
get and then what happened was when they
got the phone case they put it on their
phone they took a picture of it they
share that picture on their Facebook
page in front of all their audience that
like knows and trust them and is into
cryptocurrency linking back to my
Shopify store which sets a whole bunch
of traffic to my Shopify store and made
me in the first six hours a hundred
dollars in sales which is pretty damn
badass guys it only cost me pretty much
to do this type of promotion two dollars
I just had to pay for the phone case
that was it okay pretty damn cool now
the thing that made this work was
beforehand before I actually contacted
the influencer and I almost forgot to
mention this I made sure my Shopify say
actually looked professional I had about
40 listings of different products in
different categories from sweatshirts
the different types of phone cases on
the website and they were all
cryptocurrency related they're like
t-shirts with Bitcoin logos on it and
sweaters and scarves and mitts
anything that I could find crypto were
later on Alibaba and Aliexpress I just
took that and I put it on my site and
then I got a custom URL from GoDaddy a
custom design logo from Fiverr and I
made it look very professional so when I
actually reached out to these
influencers and I said my company would
like to sponsor them and send them free
cryptocurrency related products and
accessories for their phones or you know
clothing items then when they came to my
Shopify store before they you know even
got anything from me then they can be
reassured that okay this is an actual
company this looks like an actual
legitimate company really not knowing
that it's actually just me so that's
what really made it work that I think a
lot of people overlook and if you
actually try the strategy that's where
most people are probably gonna you know
fall flat on their face but I know you
guys probably have a question well
Brando you said you
three hundred dollars in sales in a
single day what happened to the extra
two hundred dollars in sales well what I
did was I put a opt-in page on my
Shopify store using a service called
sumo you can go to sumo comm and you can
get this it took me probably three and a
half hours after watching a lot of
YouTube videos and reading blog articles
to find access to this application and
once I put this opt-in on my Shopify
store it increased my profits by an
extra two hundred dollars in sales
because what I then did on my opt-in was
I created another incentive a little
pop-up came up like you guys see on the
screen here or I'll just throw it on the
screen my website looks very similar to
this it just had like actual listings of
products okay but in the bottom right
hand corner of my pop-ups of my opt-in
what I did was I put an incentive which
was buy one of any product and get a
second product for free and that second
product was a phone case that they could
pick and choose from and they can choose
the logos from but in order for them to
access that promo they had to enter
their email because again I knew having
built my full time income online since
2014 through email marketing I know the
fortune is in the follow-up I know that
I need to collect that email because I
can follow up with those people and sell
to them over and over again always
sending them back to my website and
they're gonna be more likely to buy
because because keep in mind their
favorite Facebook influencer in
cryptocurrency the page they're
following on Facebook shout it out my
website with a phone case that we have
on our website okay so they've already
been to my site and now they've got this
incentive here which they can buy any
product get one for free and now I can
follow up with them through email
sending them back to my store not to the
same product each time but I could
follow up with them which I haven't done
and I can send them to a sweatshirt a
t-shirt shorts joggers pants shoes
scarves anything I can put on my site
that is crypto related and they're gonna
be more than likely to bite and when
people enter their email address on it
to buy one and get a free phone case
they were sent an email which gave them
access to a variety of different phone
cases they could choose from from make
and model and actual logo designs with
different crypto logos on it and I was
giving these away for free because the
profit margins are so high I mean look
at these phone cases they only cost me
two dollars like under three dollars and
they look like this and I can put any
logo on it and
can give that away for free to
incentivize people to buy more products
on my store and that's exactly what
happened so I hope you guys see the
bigger picture here I hope this gets you
excited because this is literally what
allowed me to go out there and kind of
crush it so to speak as a new person
with Shopify and again I'm no expert I
am no guru on this but I love business
I love entrepreneurship and I love
testing out different things so that's
what this was this was a freaking test
and it was dope it was awesome so no
that's not it for today's video guys I'm
not gonna leave you like that alright
that's like you know giving a dog food
but without water I don't I don't want
to do that to you okay so I'm gonna give
you guys like two more examples to just
kind of get your brain turning on how
powerful incentive marketing is and then
also making sure that you have an opt-in
page that incentivizes people on your
Shopify store to spend more money and
you can also give them free products and
services so let's say we're gonna go out
there and we're gonna promote this
product you guys could go out there and
promote this exact product only a dollar
and ninety cents it's got a lot of votes
a lot of ratings that are five stars I
like it it's on aliexpress it's cheap
and if we're gonna go do incentive
marketing and we're going to contact
influencers giving them this product for
free it's super cheap it's only gonna
cost us a dollar in ninety cents yeah it
might take some time for them to get it
but once they get it they'll be like wow
that company sent me this I like them
and hopefully what we're going for is
they showed us that we're not telling
them hey you have to show us so we're
not pressuring them to show us out we're
just saying hey if you find value in our
product and in our services we just like
to hear your thoughts and your next
YouTube post in your next YouTube video
in your next you know Instagram post etc
okay so where can we go find an
influencer other than just on like
Facebook well we can go to youtube and
we could type in you know beauty on
YouTube and instead of just typing
beauty in YouTube and getting a whole
bunch of videos we can filter out and we
can select channels all right and then
we can look through all the YouTube
channels that are Beauty related and
what we're looking for our specific
YouTube channels that have you know
under a hundred thousand subscribers
because any beauty channel that's under
a hundred thousand subscribers they're
not making a lot of money they're not
making typically a full-time income
unless they have a business on the side
and they're also keep in mind not
getting brand deals and brands spot
sponsorships okay if I can speak
properly god here's one that I found
this one is by Laura May beauty she's
got 42 thousand subscribers what I would
do is I would contact her and click this
little box right here I'd send her a
message I would hit her up in her email
inbox because chances are she's getting
inundated with messages and the message
I would send her is very simple I just
build a our company would love to
sponsor you and send you some free
beauty products around skin care here's
one of the products if you want to check
it out it's on our store we would mail
it to you absolutely free if you want
you can use it in one of your YouTube
videos you don't have to but if you do
get value out of it and you do decide to
use it and you actually enjoy it
just showed us back out in one of your
videos or just give us some feedback in
one of your videos next time you post or
just leave a link back in the
description of one of those videos and
that is it that is all last example guys
I'm going to leave you with is a video
game so let's say you're gonna sell this
t-shirt so it's sure it's gonna cost you
obviously a lot more money to send to an
influencer because you're buying a
product that's like $11 13 dollars but
still that is so cheap when you put it
in practicality where you're gonna go
out there and let's say you're gonna do
do influence your marketing or you're
actually you go out there and sponsor
influencers on Facebook well guess what
that's gonna cost you a couple hundred
dollars or let alone a couple thousand
dollars okay whereas with this way of
doing promotional strategies and doing
incentive marketing it's only gonna cost
you eleven dollars and thirteen dollars
that's not bad to potentially get a
shout-out from an influencer and they're
gonna love you regardless because you're
sending them a free product and who
doesn't love getting free products right
so let's say we're gonna market this it
costs us $11 to possibly $13 and we can
put different types of logos on it and
then what we can do is we can switch it
up instead of going to YouTube we could
go to YouTube but let's go to your
Facebook and let's search up gaming just
in Facebook very generic and let's
search up pages okay
and you can see all these Facebook pages
show up we're looking for things that
have not that big of a following I'm
gonna say like half a million and under
really anything that's got good
engagement but the ones that have like a
huge fall in like Hasbro gaming you
don't want to contact like that's a
company and entity in and of itself
making millions of dollars they're not
gonna do what you're trying to do
incentive marketing it's just not gonna
fly but I've gone ahead I found already
to gaming profiles gaming pages this
one's gaming memes it's got two hundred
and sixteen thousand likes and people
that follow
the other one is gaming TV it's got 681
thousand people that like it so again
all I would do is I would contact these
two influencers and I'd say my gaming
company would love to sponsor you we
have different products and services
related around gaming to have different
branding on it and we'd love to send you
a free t-shirt if you get value out of
this and you actually want to do the
brand partnership as long as you get
value and you see yourself using our
services all we ask in turn is that you
just give us a little bit of a shout out
maybe link back to our website in the
next time the next time you do a
Facebook post but after you actually
receive our product again we're giving
before we're receiving and the more we
give out there the more we're gonna
receive and turn it's a different kind
of paradigm it's thinking outside the
box and something that I've only seen
literally probably two other youtubers
doing and I figured what the hell I
wanted to try it so I hope you guys
