so you can finally do good themes over
at WooCommerce calm or go to theme
forest and check out the WooCommerce

affiliate sites tend to have minimal
design and it's all about the content
really rather than you know messing
around with visual editors and stuff and
laying out pages that's fine if you want
a brochure site you know maybe you're a
proper company and you want to show off
your stuff then ya think about Divi is
great because it's got loads of features
and you can create a great looking
website but when it comes to affiliate
stuff it doesn't have to look amazing
it's the content that that's going to
really you know make it a success

really really broad topics well that's
fine let's go into the cycling in each
so I've got a tool installed into krob
it's called keywords anywhere so if we
weren't cycling if I just type cycling
in I now get some information along the
top here so the volume is two hundred
and one thousand searches months are
obviously very very popular it's going
to be a competition of 0.12 to the
higher that number is the more
competition it is but obviously you know
it's far too broad with some types in
cycling we've got no idea what they're
looking for we want people that are
looking to buy stuff to start with and
we want keywords that are fairly low
competition so let's just scroll down
you could play start is to have a look
at the related searches because that
might give us an idea so you know it's
got all these URLs again they're really
you know high volume high competition
sort of terms I say the higher the
number is to 1 the more competition is
but you want to break it down you want
to go at first so it might be that we go
into cycle helmets this is all just top
of my head because we want something
specific we want a keyword or key term
that people are using to you know look
for something to buy when they type in
cycling they're probably looking for
information rather than a product so
cycle helmets we at least know they're
looking for a cycle helmet but the
competition is high again there is a
good volume now if you've followed any
of dugg stuff and the keyword ratio tool
the golden ratio you will know that he
likes to go for keywords that are less
than 250 a month to start with at least
anyway when is a new site and then he
runs it through his calculation based on
the all in title figure which I'll do in
a second as well I'll show you how that
works
yeah because so we're looking for
keywords that have buyer intent and a
low competition and with a you know
reasonable search for 250 month whatever
so we need to drill in a bit more so in
here this is looking good so I cycle
helmets review that could be interesting
because that allows you to you know
create some content around cycle helmets
but I bet if we added some more words so
if I just do a space after cycle helmets
we're gonna get a few more suggestions
and we're getting more niche and we're
getting into something that we can
create some content around that is also
got some buyer intent around it so Glenn
Miller and a chat has just said how to
improve your cycling that's fine
although again the person who searches
that they're not necessarily looking to
buy a product I mean you can obviously
recommend products within an article
around how to improve recycling maybe
shoes you know stuff to wear I don't
know better bikes that kind of thing but
however the person who's looking for
that information is not necessarily
looking to buy something so maybe not
hundred cent great keyword these terms
are buyer terms people that are
searching for cyclist with lights so I
can work with visors review they're kind
of nearly ready to buy they just need a
bit of help again which is where an
affiliate can come in and help them but
let's get specific with cycle helmets
where lights so competition is still
quite high the volumes come down
let's scroll down and look at the
related so we've got this Loomis helmet
I don't know what that is you got a
cycle helmets with lights you okay maybe
so how much would like this have enough
space so we get so I come up with
built-in lights so now we're getting
interesting it's like a helmets with
built-in lights this competition um but
I don't I don't really go over there I
mean take it or leave it I think that's
based on AdWords they - anyway so I
won't worry about that a novice Li there
is a lot of shopping yet I wouldn't
worry about the competition but volume
is 72 per month so I think it could be
an interesting one to run through Doug's
little golden ratio tool so he says if I
do an all in title on this we get ten
results so there's only ten results that
actually have all these words in the
title so that bodes pretty well for us
if we go back so that's remember that
ten and on here we've got was it seventy
so if I get my calculator up which I
don't think you can see on the screen
but never mind
I do 10/17 that gives us a number of
0.14 and Doug says anything below 0.25 I
believe it is good to go so this key
phrase here cycle how much were built in
lights could actually work could rank
really quickly if you go away created an
article went on to Amazon found all the
best cycle helmets were built in lights
put together I say an article where you
talk about the benefits of having a
cycle helmet built-in lights and all
this information you can get from Amazon
just by reading part description and
product reviews put it together put an
article up there's a great chance that
you will get ranking for this without
building any links
so the golden keyword ratio works Rose
just said in the chat that she's been
using it works for her I've been playing
around with it and from what I can see
it works really well too I highly
recommend Doug's channel do go check him
out I just do a search on Google or on
YouTube for Doug cunning ttan you'll
find his channel he's got tons of videos
on this stuff go check him out he's also
got a course that's occasionally open
for you guys to buy which comes all this
stuff in detail and you get support from
him and all that kind of thing but
that's one example of how to do keyword
research and how to find keywords that
are very specific so let me just do one
more so there was a mention of Vodafone
and I think by the way the extensions
called keywords anyway I see someone's
asking that PC parts I'll have a look at
your uneven names in a second so Rose
Rose says women's fashion again that is
far too broad you know women's fashion
it gets like 950 thousand searches its
competitive and again someone's not
looking to buy when they type in women's
fashion they're just thinking about
fashion now this is something I know
very little about so I need some
inspiration I don't know what a baraka
print is but we can see what we get
without that's getting specific you see
I'm just gonna use that Friday Brock
print so now we're getting into some
fashion so Brock print dress that there
we go 110 searches a month again it's
it's an idea for an article you go on to
Amazon or whoever you're promoting you
find some dresses that your favorite
ones with a bot a print and bear okay I
don't even know if I'm saying that right
let's do an all-in title on it
that's not gonna work quite so well
because there's a lot of results for
that one but you get the idea you need
to drill right down inside a particular
market or a niche you can't just go at
the top level like cycling or women's
fashion you need to drill right into it
so that you can find something that's
very specific that people searching for
that's not really got a lot of content
behind it on the internet and it allows
you to come in and create something now
you're gonna think ah but Alex look it's
like 110 searches I'm like that's not
gonna bring me anything I want something
with a thousand searches a month I want
something with 2,000 search that's fine
but those terms are harder to rank for
these ones are a lot easier to rank for
and you know providing you've got a good
content writer or you're good at
creating content yourself 10 articles
with this kind of volume is the same
with rank really quickly is better which
will add up to over a thousand searches
a month anyway is better than kind of
trying to you know slog away at getting
something with more volume that's really
competitive that you're not going to get
rank for
so I hope that helps let me know was

without too much thought and you wanna
use the structure so ideally want to aim
for about a thousand words I got this

so I like to start my articles and this
article is going to have products in it
as you can see so you start off with a
little bit of general blurb you know
about whatever it is so just a little
bit of soft chitchat I'm planning a
party blah blah blah and you need
whatever it is you're doing and you know
you could set a tone it could be those
dresses you know going out on a lovely
that you need a fantastic baroque dress
for your evening to impress your friends
and family usual blurb also you making
sure that you get the keyword into
headers whenever you can so the header
the keyword for this one is draft beer
dispensers for the home then if you're
talking about different types of product
said this one there are actually free
different types of draft beer dispensers
there's the tap there's a barrel and
there's the tower's so the first bit up
here is all about describing the
different types of product rather than
get into a specific product right away
talk about different groups of product
so then I've got some links going down
to the various sections there like
anchor links which I think they work
maybe they don't I think we need if I
need slightly adjusting then I then go
into the product recommendations so
here's the draft beer tab so now all
this information I got from Amazon I
found a products which I've imported
into the site via wasone so that link
there goes straight through to the
product in the shop there it is you can
see how it kind of expanded out from
shirts a little bit because I needed
some high value products on this site
but yeah all this blurb was either from
the manufacturers website so I went over
to the Philips website found the product
you know it had bullet points or you
know whatever of the
features I just rewrote them put them
into some hmm articles like this bit
there was a bit on the Philips website
said it's hygienic needed to clean
because no parts touch the beer that
needs to be clean that kind of thing so
I just rewrote it and then link to some
other products these are site stripe
links so this beer pump comes with you
can have different beer with it so I've
just link to the different beers that
available on Amazon and then it goes on
this images using site stripe as well
and then you just go through writing
about the products each one has got you
know two or three paragraphs again I've
got all this information from the Amazon
page from the manufacturers website and
from the product reviews I literally
just kind of put it together mashed it
up rewritten it a little bit this one on
Amazon had some bad reviews so I've
created a section on ones to avoid again
it gives your article some sort of
balance if you're saying that this is
good and then this is bad then we
continue in just you know recommending
products and this article is just over a
thousand words long terms of its ranking
not quite sure let's have a look it was
only posted yesterday so we'll see let's
do a google for it I love a live
demonstration it can only go wrong I
don't actually think it's ranking just
yet because I did also change the page
title just earlier today but you know
we'll see I mean we're on page two where
our two page free still no sign I mean
it they say that you can rank in a few
hours but generally it takes a little
longer than that we're on to page four
now I'm just going bearish myself on I
we're on to page five so we're not doing
so well
we're on to page six but I think it
could because I changed it was just
actually beer dispensers falaya i'm
added the word draft to try and make it
more specific I think this was ranking
then we just changed the tools and just
adjust the time to like this okay it is
been indexed so there we go it has been
indexed but it just need a little bit
more time to settle down because it's
got the old page title say I change it

that kind of stuff very soon

CSS that should work for you you can
adjust the width to fix you need to add
that to your CSS then you see if I can
do it I'll create it and I'll post the
full bit of CSS that you need to copy
and paste it into your site so we're
going for width to 50 pigs for
white-space:nowrap overflow:hidden
text-overflow:ellipsis
I think the width is a little wide let
me just adjust that okay I'm going to

whoa what is that weird blurriness so
better okay so here we go I've added
that CSS that's got a width of a hundred
if I adjust the width let's say put it
up to if you want it on one line I think
you're gonna need to go factory probly
only goes on one line with the CSS 150

CSS that you can copy and paste it into
the custom CSS in your theme settings

there's a few benefits the other good
thing is using the API it updates the
product prices every single night

and he's definitely worth watching on
YouTube and I was I was happy to have
him on a channel I thought he bought
some good value I think you guys enjoyed

on Facebook that's worth it can be
depends on the niche I've had some
success also had some failure with it
again very specific stuff worked really
well so an example would be on the beer
shirt stuff where I was promoting one of
the blog posts all around Star Wars be
related stuff that did really well
because on Facebook I was able to target
people that liked beer that like Star
Wars and yeah got a really good response
rate so I think it works really well if
you've got a Facebook page set up and
you're posting content and then using
the Facebook Ads to kind of push that
content out a bit further it's also a
good way to build likes up on your
Facebook page which again you can then
use to promote stuff rose is torn pass
shook something that Bible stuff general
miss have you ever tried Shopify would
you recommend I have tried Shopify again
