this video I'm going to show you exactly
how to get to 10,000 followers on
Instagram and monetize your Instagram
and make passive income now this video
is not for the person who enjoys using
Instagram for you know just looking at
friends photos and just using it for
leisure this video is pertain to someone
who is building a business a personal
brand or just trying to monetize their
audience through Instagram now let's
jump into how exactly are you going to
grow your following exponentially okay a
lot of videos you see on YouTube are
from Instagram gurus or just people in
general talking about Instagram and how
to grow it their top advice is you know
use proper hashtags or you know take
pretty photos be consistent no I think
all of those things are important and
they do play key parts in growing your
following but they don't directly
correlate to growing your following now
that is just kind of fluff ok so we're
going to dive deep into exactly how to
get more followers and the number one
way to do so is to have some sort of
automation okay think of now we can
relate this to kind of a brick and
mortar store or let's just say you have
a shoe shop right you have a shop you're
selling shoes okay you're paying money
for the shoe shop now how are you going
to sell your shoes let's say that the
shoes are the content okay so we're
putting up new shoes we're always
Yeezys right we got the nice we got the
new basketball shoes but no one knows
about your store okay you're just
expecting two people to come by your
store and see your sign and come in okay
that's what you're relying on you're
solely relying on people just kind of
stumbling across your store and then
coming in and buying some shoes okay
that's not going to work on Instagram
you can't just rely on Instagram to
promote your content okay because there
is no financial incentive for Instagram
to promote your content you know
anything anywhere bigger than 2 to 5
percent you're not going to get that
much engagement solely from Instagram
promoting so how do you get more
followers you have to have some sort of
automation tool whether it's a follow
unfollow app or you know if it's on your
desktop the reason why you download
those follow unfollow automation tools
is because when you follow someone
they're going to get a notification that
you followed them so you basically got
free advertising right you landed in
their notifications they saw your name
they saw Orion hildreth added me and
then they might click and check out your
profile ok so that's a free way of
getting more followers and that's the
only way to do it so how do you how do
you get exponentially more followers by
doing this utilizing these automation
tools now your most of the automation
systems that I found online are on the
desktop they don't have a very fast rate
of following and unfollowing people
because they don't want to get shut down
like Instagram did no Instagram with an
automation tool they got shut down
because you can set custom values you
can say I want to follow 250 people in
an hour every hour of the day now you're
more likely to get banned your your
profile band because you're abusing the
inter abusing the platform okay so for
me I like to have an app or with the app
I uses captivate and this app allows you
to adjust and have those custom values
so you know I don't follow anywhere more
than 120 people per hour that's kind of
my max that's my threshold to where I've
hit the limits
I had Instagram tell me you cannot use
your profile anymore
or you can't use this feature anymore
like following people because you have
reached you have been abusing your
platform
okay I've gotten that message and I did
that on purpose so that I could see how
many you know how many people can I
follow in an hour
right while using these automation tools
that do it throughout the day so I can
just kind of sit there and let people or
let the app you know follow people and
obviously good content and good photos
and I would say utilize live streams you
better be posting Instagram stories
every single day at least five to ten to
get that good engagement and really
connect with your audience that is all
important okay
but the only way to do that to get that
content out to mass scale is by
utilizing some sort of automation tool
so captivate is the one I use because
you're going to want to be able to reach
the biggest audience you can and get
your name in people's notifications so
they see your name over and over and
over again and then you're posting
content and they see your content then
you're posting an Instagram story and
it's Instagram live and they're seeing
all of that and you're just constantly
everywhere at once so that's the number
one thing with automation okay number
two you want to be able if you want to
monetize your Instagram you have to get
the swipe up feature now this is only
Instagram just updated this about a
month ago to where they gave the swipe
up feature to people with followings
that are that 10,000 followers or more
okay so I have this swipe up feature and
I'll show you on my phone at the end of
this video on how to utilize it but when
you have 10,000 followers you can have a
swipe up feature which means that when
you post an Instagram story you're able
to embed a link in there okay now this
could be your link to your website where
you sell a product or a service or it
could be to your YouTube channel or to
another social media platform where you
self stuff okay so this is very crucial
to have
when you're trying to monetize through
Instagram and build your following it's
important to have that swipe up feature
it's very sought-after a lot of people
ask me all the time how did you get that
swipe up feature so now I'm telling you
here on this video another thing is to
get leads okay the reason we use
automation tools is so that more people
are seeing our names and you'll notice
when you're following 500 to a thousand
people a day you're going to get 50 to
60 messages in your inbox people asking
oh hey I appreciate you following me or
I appreciate you reaching out what do
you do I like your pictures and just
start engaging in conversation with
those people okay you can tell them
about what you do you can tell them
about your product your service your
YouTube channel if you're trying to
promote that which I do you want more
leads okay and the only way to do that
is by reaching more people now I'm
telling you about all free ways to get
more leads okay more followers more
leads whatever you want to call them I'm
telling you free ways you can utilize
this now do I run paid advertising yes
paid advertising is the most efficient
way to get more followers because when
you're showing up on their feed or in
their interest stories multiple times a
day and they don't follow you and
they're like who is this guy he does
affiliate marketing or I really like
this car I see it in his advertisement
they're going to check out your profile
with my Instagram story advertisements I
could reach a hundred thousand people in
a week so I'm bound to get you know a
lot of followers just from that alone
but that's paid advertising not everyone
wants to do that I have videos on that
if you want to check those out on how to
run Instagram story advertisements so
that you could get more exposure but
that's not always necessary only if you
really want to spend money on
advertising like I do the last thing I
would recommend utilizing is really
simple put the link in your bio okay if
you don't have the swipe up feature yet
putting the link in your bio is one of
the only ways that P
can actually check out your store check
out your product or service or your
YouTube channel whatever you're trying
to promote you can also send messages
with clickable URLs now which is very
helpful so every day what I would do is
follow at least 500 I would say start
off small start off with like 250 to 500
people follow and you'll notice you'll
get at least 10 to 15 messages interact
with those people make sure you're
posting every day so that your
engagement is higher and that those new
people see you all the time and I
guarantee you're going to get more
followers now I'm going to show you on
my computer I'm going to hook up my
phone to my computer so we can I can
show you the app I use and then kind of
the engagement rates that I'm getting
with my profile so let's go all right so
we're here on my phone and I would like
to utilize Instagram for affiliate
marketing building my personal brand
promoting my youtube channel so the app
that I utilize is called captivate now I
know in the previous video that I did on
Instagram growing your following I said
use cleaner captivate is the newer
version of cleaner because it has a map
follow tool now how do you go and go
about using this app now we're going to
go to search we're going to type in a
big page that we are in the same niche
as so I'm in the Entrepreneurship
business niche so I'm going to go to
millionaire mentor he has a big
following 2.6 million we're going to
click on that load up his following and
these are new people people that
recently followed his page and then
we're going to quick select select all
actions follow and then add two pending
actions the reason why we want to do
that is because we don't want to start
following 200 people in a row right away
that's that's going to land you in the
band section of Instagram so you click
Add depending actions and we'll go back
we'll go to settings as a bottom
right-hand corner and we'll go to
pending actually we'll go to background
mode but make sure your maximum back at
batch actions aren't above 50 so
anything lower than that I have mine at
50 and then I'm going to click on
background mode and it's going to follow
50 people at the top of every hour that
I had in my pending actions and that's
that's the quickest way to gain
followers and really build your
following and get your name out there
get your face in front of people in
their notifications so let's go on my
Instagram and actually look at some of
the statistics of how my page is doing
so I have 14 K followers 6 months ago I
had 1,000 so I've gained about 2,300
every month I'm going to click on the
statistics bar and you can see I'm
getting 60 thousand impressions per week
reaching like 7500 people you know
getting 143 website clicks per day like
that is amazing stuff and before I was
before I started utilizing automation
systems when I wasn't I was only getting
maybe five to ten website clicks so when
you're able to get 140 per day now
that's leads okay
and you can also see if I go I already
have messages that I'm waiting for that
I haven't even answered yet
so I mean I get probably around 20 to 30
messages a day all because I utilize
some sort of automation so if you aren't
utilizing automation for your business
you aren't reaching enough people you
need to reach more people and get your
content get your brand in front of more
people so that you can provide some
value and then eventually monetize so I
